Event/Tour for 12 y/o?

Hi all... Looking for suggestions/reviews. Will be in WDW in Feb with the extended family, and am looking for a special event/tour to give my God-daughter/Niece for Christmas as a gift. Was thinking either the Family Magic Tour or Wild Africa Trek. Read some reviews that the Family magic tour would be boring for someone her age though, and the Wild Africa Trek is pricy without knowing if it's worth it... Would love any thoughts/suggestions on those or anything else that might be a nice thing for us to do down there.

I'd go with the Wild Africa Trek. DH & DS did the trek when DS was 11 and it was amazing! They loved every minute of it.

The Family Magic Tour is really geared toward younger kids. We did it several years ago when our kids were 6 & 4 - they were the perfect ages for it. There were two 12-ish yr old girls in our group and they were not having as much fun as the younger kids were.

We loved the trek as two adults, so if she likes animals, I don't see her not loving it. Have you looked into "Yes" at all? They are actually classes, but cater to specific interests (fashion, engineering, etc). And bonus, you get cheaper park tickets. That might be something she would be interested in.
