Evening trips

Does anybody have tips for things to do in the evening. I'll have two girls, 8 and 12 with me.

...virtually limitless! Everything you can do during the day, you can do at night!! Dependant upon time of year, various parks will be open until late at both WDW and Universal (Epcot nearly always open til 900+ for Illuminations).... there's Downtown Disney for shops, people watching and cinema, International Drive for similar and a variety of individual attractions .... I don't think they will be bored!!

How about mini-golf, or eating at a resort hotel (I particularly enjoyed whispering canyon cafe with my kids).

We are going to try Boggy Creek Airboats this year for something different.

There's tons of stuff to do, you never fit everything you want to do in.

Definately illuminations at epcot, fantasmic at mgm and also downtown disney.

Disneyquest: My partner and i love disneyquest as did my little brothers when we took them ages 6 and 14. I'm not sure if it would be top priority for two young girls though. Hopefully someone else with girls that has been there will be able to answer that.

I drive: Wonderworks and Ripley's Believe It Or Not are worth a look and Pointe Orlando. Skull Kingdom i think would be a bit scary for your youngest.

Citywalk at universal.

Plus loads more that i can't think of no, my mind's gone blank!

Depending on budget,
An evening at Cirque, my girls both LOVED this show and constantly ask when they can go back.

An Illuminations cruise to Epcot, this can work out quite inexpensive if you canfind a family to share the cost of the cruise with as the boats take 12 I think.

My girls enjoyed meals at AKL then explore the hotel and the animal "savannahs, but by the time the women folk get ready to go out after a day in the parks/pool ypu're not going to have an enourmous amount of time to fill.

By the time you add in park days/night and a couple of shopping trips I doubt you'll have too much time to worry about filling in time. If you're in a hotel they can always swim late then get something to eat, if you're in a villa by the time you eat and let them watch TV for an hour they'll be ready for bed.
