evening temperature in sect/oct

we will be in orlando from 21 sep to 5 oct and was wondering if it got cold in the evenings?

The only time it will be cold is if the restaurant or bar has 'over eager' air conditioning
If so, it sometimes helps to wear a long sleeve shirt

We've been five times in Sept/Oct and I can only remember one evening where it was 'cool', but that was when the tail end of a hurricane passed over, even so I was still wearing shorts and 'T' shirt.

the girls have already said they'll take a cardigan or demin jacket in the evenings due to the air con in most places makes them freeze !
