Evening flights in Sept from JFK with Jetblue?

I'm trying to get an idea of mid Sept flight times to WDW, as I'd like to leave for the airport after DD8 gets out of school Thurs. I thought I heard May flights are comparable to Sept for Jetblue, is that correct? Looks like there are flights leaving JFK at 5:50 and 6:50 pm, does that sound in line with Sept? DD gets out at 2:50, bus drops her home at 3:30, or we can pick her up. It's about 10 min to the airport from my home (with little to no traffic). Would I be pushing it to try a 5:50 flight?

I guess it would depend on where you're parking and how long the shuttle to the terminal will take. IMO, the amount of time your describing would be fine (Jet Blue has its own terminal - T5 and I find their security VERY fast) assuming your travel time is accurate and there isn't a long shuttle ride.
