Evening EMH: Couple Questions

Do they limit the number of wristbands they distribute? That is, can we pretty much count on being able to enter the park/get a wristband any time including after the park closes to the general public (we have some later PS's on some nights and would like to hop to the late EMH park). Any help is appreciated.

I have heard that there is a limit to the number of wristbands they distribute for the evening EMH. I overheard a Cast Member saying something about this back in June. However, the number must be pretty high from what we experienced while we were there. I would not worry about them running out unless you are going during Christmas or any other really busy time.
You can get them after the EMH has already started as long as you are a Disney resort guest.

When we did evening EMHs in June and again in Aug, there were people coming into the parks, and getting their wristbands as we left. That would have been about an hour before the end of EMH. I don't think there is a limit to the number of wristbands. It's not like the after park hours where you had to pay $12 for the priviledge of going...those were limited.

in my opinion their should be a limit. i was their in july and the first emh at magic kingdom we went to was practically empty we loved it now the second one on the other hand it took us thirtyminutes to get down main street most of the time we were at a dead stop our group got split up people were ramming strollers it was a mess... we didnt stay to long i think we only did one ride the haunted mansion as its our favorite

The only limit to the wristbands is the number of people who are staying at Disney Resorts. Which depending on the time of year can be quite a few people. My advice is to skip Evening EMH as they tend to be packed, with wait times longer than you would find during a non EMH time. Morning EMH are a different story since a lot of people don't like to get up early. But if you do do them, plan on park hopping later in the day when the park gets crowded because morning EMH parks tend to become more crowded as the day goes on.

We used the extra hrs at MGM on Sunday and it was great! We got on Rock and Tower very quickly. The park was crowded during the day with the soap weekend but rides were too bad. We will defintely take advantage next time of the extra hrs.
