Evening Childcare for 13 year old?

DS will be 13 on our next trip in Dec; this will be our 7th trip since he was 4 yrs old; he has always enjoyed the Neverland Club and other childcare clubs; we've used them twice every trip so we could enjoy an adult night out. Now that he's 13, he's too old for the clubs ... and we feel he is too young to leave alone. My only thought is someone from the childcare service that comes to your room; someone who would go to the parks with him. ?? any insight or ideas from others would be much appreciated!

Sorry I can't answer your question but wanted to comment that I think it would be nice for WDW to offer something for the "tweens". Even if there was just one location on property because I don't think I would be comfortable leaving a 13 year old alone in a hotel room either! My DD is rapidly approaching this age too

I am pretty sure that Fairy Godmothers will babysit a child who is 13 and I know for sure that the FGM will take your child to the park if you pay her admission along with your child's.

VICB- I wholeheartedly agree with you. Although I might be a little biased on this considering my youngest will only be old enough to go the clubs for ONE YEAR before my oldest is then too old to go. And no, I won't want to leave her alone at age 13 unless she does a huge mongo amount of maturing by then.(doubtful) LOL

I think perhaps they should make some "condition" of older children going to the clubs IF it's with a younger child of age to go to the club. I mean really- she'd be a lot of help with the younger two! It would be less work for the CMs, not more. And atleast one for older children might be nice too. I wouldn't be against taking the younger two to one club, the oldest to another.
