Even though I am a Free Dining vet, I really don't know the answer to this question

Ok, so if you booked your Free Dining trip for 2011 to arrive on the very last day, which would be Thursday, September 29, but did'nt get there till the morning of the 30th, lets say around 2 or 3 am would you still get your free dining? Or would you have to be checked in by midnight?

I'm not sure either but I would think that since you have paid for your package before arrival it wouldn't matter if you didn't arrive until 2 or 3am on the 30th because you paid for the room for the 29th. Just my thoughts. I would call Disney and just verify. Good luck!!!

The resort computers don't turn over until early morning (6:00am?), so it would still be considered the 29th.

You will probably be charged for the night of the 29th regardless as you prepaid. Also, if you checked into any hotel at 2am they are going to charge you backwards, not forwards (for the previous night). All in all you should be fine, especially since all their packages are pre-paid.

Yes, you should be fine but I would call and tell them to note your account that you won't be arriving until that time.

We have checked in to hotels (not at Disney) as late as 1:00 pm without issue.

I am going this November. When I booked I had to start my trip on the 18th to qualify for free dining. I told them that there was no way I would make it there on the 18th...she said it wouldn't matter because I had paid for the room on the 18th...therefore qualifing for free dining or my stay regardless of when I check in.

Thats exactly what I am thinking. Possibly planning a back up trip if we don't get to go on our cruise in May.
