Evan is going to see "Bickey Bouse" on a wish trip!

does anyone have any input on bibbidy bobbidy boutique for boys? is it fun? would you go to the one in MK or the one at downtown? i was thnking that may be fun on our saturday.

Hi there,

Again--I am not speaking from experience, as I have never been to either BBB or Harmony Barbershop (in Magic Kingdom), but I've heard that there is a Knight's Package available at BBB (so coloured hair gel and some sort of sword, I think! Someone can correct me if I'm wrong!) for boys.

But, if you go to the Barbershop, they can do haircuts and coloured hair gel and glitter there, as well. I hear it is less pricey at Harmony (than BBB) and less busy (so although appointments can be made, they can often squeeze you in without a reservation). Plus, if you are lucky the Dapper Dans, MK's resident barbershop quartet, might be in house and Evan can be serenaded while they stencil his hair with coloured gel! Might be worth looking into!

If B gets her wish, I will be taking Avie to Harmony for her first haircut. They even give a certificate and 'First Haircut' Mickey Ears there! So cute.

Also, if Evan is a fan of pirates, you might consider going to the Pirate's League (kinda the boy equivalent of BBB)--there the guests get 'dressed up' as pirates--makeup, scars, eyepatches, bandanas--the whole kit and kaboodle. Apparently, they are also given a pirate's name, which is then recorded in a pirate ledger. I think there is some sort of pirate parade that they can also participate in. A lot of people seem to think this is a lot of fun!

Moms and Grans and Grumps are also welcome to get pirate-d up!

If you were thinking of seeing the Indiana Jones and Beauty and the Beast shows at Disney's Hollywood Studios ask to sit up front. Both locations have accessible seating in the front.

hey new friends!

i have been busy this evening trying to fix a few surprises for evan and my parents. i did a little ebaying of some things i don't use anymore and came up with a little extra for a few special treats

i got in touch with a lady on etsy to see if she would make special mickey head shirts with our names and "evan's sunshine foundation wish trip" on them. waiting to hear if she can put that much text on them before i order them.

and then, for our last day, i got breakfast reservations at crystal palace with pooh and eeyore (who happens to be one of my faves). and i decided to book the dessert party as a thank you to my mom for all she does for us...but ssshhhhhhh! all these treats are surprises!

and the big excitement of this week is that i am heading to tampa tomorrow to visit with my best friends from college. one lives there, and the other is flying down with me. i booked this trip about one month before ev got his wish. and i feel really guily about spending the money to get a girls weekend now...but i really do need it, and am SOOOO looking forward to getting out of this rain and snow! have a great night and thanks for tuning in

our flights were pretty bumpy, and we were delayed. but we made it safely and i woke up to 63 degress and sunshine! i did have a bit of a chance to scout out southwest airlines wheelchair procedures.

btw, does anyone need a fairy godmother to send a postcard? i am not in orlando, but i am in florida!!!

have a great weekend gang. next week is our trip presentation and i can't wait to post pics for you all to see!

Finally had to time to start reading your PTR. I can't believe what you been through. You are a great mommy to him. You are flighting out of Pittsburg. At least it's a straight flight. We are flighting out of Charleston and layover in ATL. I wish we were going the same dates only week different. Glad your mom gets to go with you. We live 1/2 mile from my dad and it's great. Does your ds always want to go gran house? My dd does all the time.. My dad stop by on this lunch about each day. I know how great it is to have parents live so close to you. Has it been cold up your way? We had snow not much, but it's been cold!!!

Glad your trip is going great!!! I bet Evan is having just as much fun with his grandmother as you are in FL with friends. It was almost 70 here today- we are near Atlanta. hahaha...ev does love going to gran's! actually when i let the dog out even HE runs to gran's!! lol!

it would be fun if we were in disney at the same time. flying through pittsburgh is pretty easy, i think. i have never gone from charleston. and atlanta is big, but the people are pretty helpful!

can't eait to hear more about you guys as the trip gets closer!
