Evacuated!

We had to be evacuated twice this week from rides and it's never happened to me before...Dinosaur and TTA. It was definitely weird to see Dinosaur with the lights on! We walked through the whole attraction. I might be just really bored but...


What rides have you been evacuated from?

Nope.. We were just starting out in the ride, we sat in the dark for a while, then all the lights went on!

I was evacuated from the Grizzly water ride while at the California Adventure in Cali. Was a very different perspective of the ride

Never was evacuated from a ride. The closest similarity was getting stuck inside Carousel of Progress in July. We were banging on doors to get out, but the doors never opened. Since we had no other choice, we rode the second time.

Space Mountain at Disneyland years ago...We were going up the starting hill when we just stopped. We sat in that reclined position for about 10 minutes before we started up again. We didn't actually exit the cars, but we went through the entire ride with the lights turned on. Doesn't quite have the same feel with the lights on, but it was interesting getting to see what it looks like inside.

Never been evacuated, but I have been lucky enough to ride RnR with the lights on and take a tour of the Haunted Mansion.

Hahaha, everytime I ride Carousel of Progress it has some technical difficulties, I love it . I got stuck on Test Track for a good 15 minutes once, we were on the hilly part with all the sharp turns.

Just got stuck on Star Tours once, went for a second round of the ride. Most fun part was my car had junkies of the film

We got stuck and had to be escorted out of Expedition Everest, right at the park where they show the Yeti shadow! It was our first time on the ride too...creepy!! We had to walk down 17 flights of stairs, but we did get 2 free fast passes!

Never evactuated, but did get stuck repeatedly on Peter Pan in one trip (45 minutes . . . if it weren't for the opening scene over London I would NEVER want to set foot on that ride again. Incidently, the "remain in your ride vehicle" speaker is the same voice as the Monorail.

Also got to see the top of ToT on my first ride on it with the lights on. Neat, but a REAL "magic killer" because there is absolutely nothing "cool looking" about it fropm that perspective. AT ALL. But it was cool coming back a year later and seeing it again when it was working correctly and saying to myself "holy cow, it actually DOES look good when the lights are out!"

Pirates, Tower of Terror, Splash Mountain, Haunted Mansion, & Spiderman (Islands of Adventure), & Kongfrontation and Men In Black (Universal Studios)
It seems like a lot...but that's over about the past 10 years or so..

We got stuck on BTMR once. It was kind of cool getting to walk out from under the mountain and see the stuff only the CM's get to see.

Never evacuated but stuck on Smalll World for 20 minutes. to this day if my DS 17 wants to irritate me all he has to do is start singing "it's a world of laughter a world of tears"

Us too. First time my wife and I were ever at WDW (1985) we got stuck on IASM for about 20 minutes. It was a long time before we could bring ourselves to get back on it again.
