Evacuated!

None since we started going to WDW 1975!!

I seem to always get stuck in the Haunted Mansion when the ride goes backwards and you get tilted back.

spaceship earth. the part towards the end where we tilt back. we needed help from the CM'S getting the kids and myself out b.c there was a huge space between the car and stairs beside it. DS6 talked about our evacuation of SE the rest of trip

I got "evacuated" from Maelstrom. We had just gone down the hill and were stopped immediately at the bottom of the hill. Eventually a repairman came and had us rock the boat over the bump and he pushed us to the ending. I've been stuck on rides where we didn't move and had to sit there a long time. It happened twice on TTA, 4 times on Splash mt, twice on test track, once on Dinosaur, once I rode rock n roller completely in the lights, and twice stuck in Carousel of Progress. Seems the magic number is 20 minutes for a ride to reset.

Never been evacuated, but we did jinx the parks once.

Went to MK in the morning, rode BTMR, it broke down halfway through (we got a free ride). Went over to Buzz Lightyear, it broke halfway through. Went across to the Haunted mansion... and you guessed it... it broke halfway through!!!!

So we caught the bus to AK in the afternoon, queued for Kali River Rapids (it was an hour wait), got to the front and guess what... it had broken and we were turned away

My wife and I got stuck on Test Track, we were on a banked curve outside. We were the last ones to be helped off of the ride. We had to climb down some stairs outside and walk in the back door where employees enters. It probably took about 20 minutes stuck in that position before they got to us to help.

We've never been evacuated, but my dh swears I am bad luck on a ride! LOL I got stuck on Spaceship Earth in the backwards down position...about midway down! I haven't smoked in 15 yrs, but I gotta tell ya...I needed a smoke when we got down!! We also got stuck on Kali River Rapids at the top of the drop! That was no fun! We also got stuck on Haunted Mansion as well! We were only there 5 days! Sheesh!

We've been delayed on rides several times, but DH and DS managed to get evacuated from Dinosaur on our last trip. They were very close to the end in any case, and had to exit using a short ladder. DS found it very exciting, and they got 2 free fastpasses, so it was a great experience all around!

I got stuck on the Snow White ride. Right where the old Queen is moving the rock and it looks like it's going to fall on you. I was fun because of that position.

I had to walk out from If You Had Wings (I think that was the name) once. We were pretty far into the ride and had to walk quite a bit.

Space Mountain, but they just let us ride it with the lights on. It's really not so cool when you can see things. They told us we could get right back on and ride it with the lights off, but there were technical difficulties so they just gave us a universal fast passes. I felt bad for the people who waited 2 hours and were getting ready to ride and had it shut down on them. (It was Christmas, so I'm not exaggerating when I say 2 hours).

Not me, but DH and DS got evacuated from ToT right after the ride opened. They didn't know what to expect from the ride, so at first they wondered if it was all part of the ride! But once they got walked off and around, they got to go again and see what was supposed to happen.

on one ride and that was
the Blue Line inTomorrow
Land.

But we have stopped on
Snow White twice. Splash
Mountain once. Too many
times to count on Haunted
Mansion and Spaceship
Earth.

And in March '05 my best
friend and I decided to get
in the standbye line for
Space Mountain. Our moms
didnt go on so they were in
the gift shop. So we were in
line and all of the sudden we
see the ride stop. Then all the
lights over the track come on.
Then my phone rings and its
my mom. She was freaking
out because she heard
someone saying the ride
broke and she thought we
were on it when it did ​

PotC July 4th, 1975. Like the park wasn't packed enough. My sister lost her flip flop in the water as she was getting on. It went under the boat so they let us go on and they said they would get it once the boat left the loading area. Well the flop went with the boat and got sucked into some pump or something , I was only 4 so I don't remember a whole lot and it shut the ride down for the entire day. They finally found her flop but it had been shreaded basically.

100 trips to Disney and i've NEVER been evacuated from a ride ever. The closest I got was on ToT when it broke down after we made our drop and we were stuck at the bottom of the ride for 45 minutes. That got old after awhile!

I've never been evacuated, but on my first ride on Splash when I was ten, we broke down for two and a half hours right at the very end, where "Have a Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah Day" is painted on the wall. We could see them trying to fix it. We could have walked to the exit, but they wouldn't let us. I was scared, but then my dad reminded me of the people who were probably stuck going up a hill and I calmed right down.

Have only got stuck once, with my grandma on POTC. the old one right where you go under the bridge with that drunk pirate trying to get the kitty to drink.

45 minutes and that was the only thing to look at!

my grandma? oh she comes prepared! wipped out a book and read! LOL

We were evacuated from Ellen's Energy Adventure. That ride holds a lot of people so it was like herding cattle out.
