Anyone ever have a problem with their eustachian tube?
I hurt mine while flying back from St. Louis on January 4th.
(No, I haven't told my mother that is how it happened. She would just yell at me and tell me that it was my fault since I live in Colorado.)
(Not that hubby and I were given a choice about moving here.)
I finally went to the doctor on the 24th because my ear was still killing me.
He prescribed Zithromax, and told me to take Ibuprofen for the pain,
and Sudafed to try and get it open.
Didn't work.
Called again on the 30th.
He put me on Prednisone for three days.
Still hasn't worked.
MY EAR IS KILLING ME!
I does hurt less often, but when it hurts now, it is ten times worse!
I don't know what else to do.
I will call the doctor again on Monday to see what the next step is.
Any one have any history with this or any helpful information for me?
I am also worried about what to do the next time I get on a plane.
I don't want to go through this again.
Thanks in advance for any help that you can give me!
