Decided to give the Eurostar a whirl for the first time on the trip I'm now planning for November .... funny how these things come together, this morning the only thing on my mind was school finishing now here I am planning a trip

What I want to know is when I've looked at some of the dates I'm playing around with in November I'm only getting 1 time coming up the 9(ish)am one and the same for my return. When I've looked before i've seen early morning and late evening journeys, are these always run or just certain times of year?

If you're looking for the direct service I don't think it runs on Tuesdays and Saturday unless during school holidays.

If not, then there should be a few options, depending on if you want to change at Lille or not.

I'd give them a call to double check.

Thanks I'll call them up in the morning, I'm looking at going Thursday - Sunday and don't mind changing .... I'll do anything to maximise our Disney time for the cheapest price :goodvibes

Apparently I'm just way ahead of myself and need to look 90days before .... I do remember seeing this on other's posts before when she told me :upsidedow

Mmmm - I'm sure that seats for November/early December are on release by phone now.

It's 90 days if trying to book on internet, but you should be able to book by phoning Eurostar directly.

Oooooh thanks for that I'll try calling them back again when I decide our definite dates. The prices seem to go up really fast so hopefully I can get hold of some dates from my doggy sitter fast :goodvibes

How do most people do it, book hotel first then eurostar or otherway? I think we can be pretty flexible on dates so long as its Thurs - Sun throughout Nov/Dec and the DLP price stays exactly the same. I've always flown and had a package deal so new to this way of booking.

Generally it's cheaper to book the Eurostar directly and book the hotel via DLP directly. There is a facility on the dlp website to add eurostar, so you can always input your dates and see what price you get.

I'd recommend booking Eurostar as soon as you know your dates as the price generally increases the longer you leave it.

If you book the hotel with DLP directly by phone, you only need to pay a deposit now, which might help.

Good luck :thumbsup2

I've always got great deals before but the flights are just silly this year so will definitely be building my own package.

For those that have done the Sunday return do they find the earlier indirect or later direct service less stressful or are all equal?

I live right by the International station at Ashford (close enough to wave people off and meet them when they return LOL!) and this time around I am going indirect outwards bound, and direct inward bound. Outwards it's only £99 for three of us, leaves at 7am (8am french time) and with an hour lay over in Lille, we arrive at 11am in the magic!! Gives us a couple of hours head start (am hoping for a fantasyland breakfast but I've never managed yet LOL!) Traveling direct home means we can maximise out time in the park and take advantage of the Disney Express via the hotel. Give them a ring now for your tickets as they are released already over the phone and in person :thumbsup2
