Can anyone help please just returned from a magical trip to DLP curtosy of the Sun £9.50 deal brilliant time and we would book again next time but not self drive found it exhausting even staying over at Cheyanne for one night.

Would love to go back but would travel eurostar. Does the Eurostar have off peak rates, whats the cheaper day/times to travel we family of 4 so would opt to travel on the cheapest day and want to stay for 3 days.

Thanks any tips would be great then we can start planning

:wizard:

Eurostar doesn't do off peak rates. The earlier you book it the cheaper it is, same as flights, unless they do a promotion such as 10% off

The lowest rate is £69 return :)

As far as I know the direct train to Disney doesn't have peak or off peak trains. There is only one train a day each way and it's like flights, ie the further ahead you book the cheaper the tickets will be. However, I think you can get an indirect train and change and Lille which is possibly a cheaper alternative..

For reference, we booked our direct Eurostar tickets for May in September last year and the cost was £226 for all four of us.

Hey! so glad you had a good trip :-) the eurostar is not bad, 69 return but a little more direct to disneyland i think, the sun deals did do eurostar tickets included, but think they were 99, you can always do the sun 9.50 deal remember and just get a train anyway, you just never show up for the ferry youve booked as the vouchers sent to you in the post for park tickets, isnt it? was the process all ok? i thought of doing the sun deal next year, they send you a voucher right? any problems with it when you got to the park or anything? And do you still have your tickets? curious as to whether theyre "forfait" on the back or could be exchanged for annual pass maybe? :-)

London to DLP via Lille is also £69 return :goodvibes

You get your voucher & exchange it at the ticket booths. You just need to show photo ID. On the back of tickets its marked zero so you won't get anything off an AP

The sun Deal was brilliant I didnt look into the cost of Eurostar at the time always thought the self drive option would be cheaper but didnt realsie how tired we would all be so this year Ill book the 9.50 deal and then eurostar sepately . Would definatly recommend dates avaiable are January - end of March
