My train to disney is at 10:15 andthe website says to arrive 45mins before the train leaves. I have to catch a train to get to london first so I wondered if you have to be there that early or if it's just advised, I'm worried in case of any delays I might not get there in time.

you do have to be there at least (I think) 30 minutes prior to departure for the direct Eurostar, as you go through international security and passport control before you board the train.

My advice is to make sure you are there in good time. If you miss it, it's gone. Simple as. Can you not travel the night before and stay in a hotel..?

If you're worried i'd say that your journey time to London leaves you little time for delays. Can you get on an even earlier train..? If not definitely stay in a hotel the night before.

I would definitely advocate staying in a hotel the night before, too. I only live two hours' drive away from London but have stayed in a Travelodge the night before my last trip. It was soooo much better than worrying and so cheap! I think we paid £30 for a triple room! (This was during a sale but you can always get good prices) If you think you might want to stay the night before, the Royal Scot Travelodge is the one we've always used. While it's a short walk from the station it's much cheaper than the Kings Cross Travelodge and is fine for an overnight stay.
It also opens up your train time options for a cheaper fare, as travelling early in the morning can be expensive.

If you do have to travel on the day to get to London, I would suggest you buy a London International (CIV) ticket to London, this way you will get some protection if your connecting train is delayed or cancelled. And make sure you leave enough time to get from your London terminal station to St. Pancras and you should be OK.
