Happy Cruise Planning :yay:

Wow...not bad considering its only January!

they sound great, maybe I should start a discussion on our fb page too and see what everyone thinks?

Our own t shirts,I'm so excited now :-)

that's a great price, is that a uk company? :-)

Yup...its a small company based in the one horse town i live in...I have a mega order to place with them for our Scout group. The t-shirts and Polos ( and sweatshirts...but lets not get carried away...lol)...are good quality
( none of your fruit of the loom rubbish:confused:).. They will also 'screen print' on the back ...I am planning leaders names on our Scout ones:))...but it costs extra.
Shame i didnt thing about this before the VAT rise....:rotfl2:

Great idea to post it as a discussion on the Facebook pg. Mel

I'm going to dig in some info on the wristbands so leave that to me. :woohoo:

Wonderful...we will be @Team Euro Mousekeeters'...lol

Will need a 'definative' graphic though...:rolleyes1

Loving the idea of writing on the back too, that would be great :thumbsup2

I wonder If one of the fab design guys on here would come up with a graphic for us? I'll drop them a line, any idea's?

Mel :cool1:

One thing that never lacks on anything Disney is IMAGINATION. I'm sure something MAGICAL will turn up. :rotfl:

:mic: Here is something I got on Facebook about the Christening Ceremony of the Dream. Personaly I will rearange my schedule so I won't miss it:

This is the official mesage from Disney Cruise Line on Facebook:

http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/DisneyCruiseLine

On Wednesday, January 19th at 10:30 a.m. Eastern, our Facebook page will stream a live webcast of the Christening Ceremony for the Disney Dream. We’ll even answer some of your questions about our ships and 2011 itineraries including Alaska and Europe.

Hi everyone!!:thumbsup2

Well we are back from our Christmas cruise on the Wonder :santa:and I am all ready to start focussing on our med adventure now!!!:yay:

Just had a quick look at the roll call and wondered if I could join the wrist band idea please? - plus my stateroom is 5013 on deck 5 and we are on early dinner if you needed to know.

Having just participated in our first ever fish extender exchange, I am so excited to be doing another one!!! - especially as I only have to lug all the stuff on a short flight to Spain this time rather than long haul to Florida!!!:goodvibes

Anyway, I will try to post regularly now as you guys are doing such a great job, I want to help in any way I can - so let me know if there is anything I can do!!:thumbsup2

I've just been over to FB, but the discussion thread isn't working. I don't mind what we have whether it be polo shirts or lanyards. Maybe both!

I don't think my DH will wear either, but me and DS are up for anything.

Time is moving on, trying to sort out my port transfers etc. I've now contacted my Sis as she's a TA to see if she can come up with any bargins. With jet2 the transfer from airport to hotel was £42.00. I've posted a question over on the DIBB on our thread about what time to leave the ship and board the ship etc.

Its getting exciting now, and I've got a ticker at long last, as DS now knows about the cruise.:banana:

Hi Amy, sooo glad you had a great time on your WANDERfull vacation but please do tell, do show :cheer2:

I will update the first page with the info you have given :goodvibes

Regarding the Wristbands a few days ago I kind a picked it up but to tell you the truth I have done very little besides finding the webpage were to get them.

This is what I have enquired so far:

The Company name is called 24Hourswristbands this is their web page: http://24hourwristbands.com/ and they are located in Houston Texas.

They offer just about everything you want, so please check it out and give us your thoughts.

Florida_Mel also found another company in the UK which also gives great options http://www.adband.co.uk/

24Hourswristbands has an offer for every 100 units ordered you get 100 free (2 for 1) and with a minimum of 50 units per order.

Now that is the easy part. :rotfl2:

The trick is to order as many as we really need but for that we need to have a very accurate role call; It wouldn't be nice to leave anyone out or return home with 40 spared units.

For example: We are a group of three and we need at least two wristbands each (1 for back up each) that makes 6 units for us but I don't mind taking 12 for I know DD likes to wear several of them. That's the number eack family really needs to figure out and of course sizes between adults and children.

Amy what was your experience on this recent cruise ?

Well that's all I got for wristbands. Oh almost forgot, Florida_Mel did opened a discussion on this matter on our Facebook pg. (Also most resent one on Polo/T shirts)

Hi Heatherbelle I guess exictement is wrapping us all. Nice ticker, specially what it says: 7 months and 5 days until our next vacation :cool1:

I just went in our FB discussion and was OK. Please try it again, web traffic sometimes gives this errors. :surfweb:

We are planning to be on the ship very very early. As soon as they let us. I figure that due to so many shore excursions and only one sea day we want to be on the Magic as long as possible. And when disembarking we are also planning to be the last too :rotfl2: Kind of make them kick us out.

It's oficial; we won't be going to Florence (Us, as in my family). :sad2:

I read on several web pages that Top notch museums and La Academia Museum, where Michellangelo's The David is will be closed on mondays. We arrive at La Spezia on a monday (08/22/2011). I wrote an e:mail to DCL and their response was that the shore excursions posted are the ones that will remain. Florence and Michelangelo has a note on the aditional information segment: "This tour is not available for the Disney Magic 7 Night Mediterranean"

Now, my original plan was to go to Florence and to Pisa. That is a 10.5 hour tour; it takes 2.5 hours to reach Florence, then go to Pisa for one more hour then 75 min drive back to the port. That's around 5 hours of a bus ride over all. I was willing of putting the effort, but if I'm going to Florence and not seeing the top museums I decided that it is not worth it.

My current options are: Lucca and Pisa or just Pisa and then hang out at La Specia (Who has info on what to do at La Specia ?)

Just wanted to know if anyone else has the same thoughts ?

What a great event; really enjoyed it. pixiedust:

God Speed and Fair Winds for you are The Dream of Many !

Get it ? I'm Manny :lmao:

January 20th is 7 months to go Day :dance3:

Isn’t it Magical. 7 MONTHS

Several proyects are in the making which will make our Cruise Vacation even Better (Like as if Disney is not enough !)

1.- Fish Extender

2.- Polo Shirts

3.- Lanyards

4.- Wristbands

5.- Cocktail/wine/etc Taste Meet

6.- Web Page / Facebook

7.- And more meets .....

So I ask ? Are we forgetting something ?

Meanwhile as Euro Mouseketeers that we are we have 6 months to learn this song by heart (Children included):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99QhUnq-hOc&feature=related

Maybe if we learn it we’ll stop sobbing every time we hear it ! Just in case you don’t already know it; otherwise you will continue sobbing (like me) :rotfl2:

I’m sugesting March 20th to start a 1st Official Row Call where we all re-confirm Cruise attendance and/or activities. Are we all OK with this date ?

We need a number to start placing order of “stuff”

There will be others but need to start getting serious sometime

Oh, and some Euro Mouseketeers are totally MIA ? Where are Thou ?

Happy Cruise Planning :cheer2:

To answer your question dear Maza has volunteered to do this. :cool1:

And Florida_Mel has opened a discussion in our faceboo page about it. ;)

:)

I am getting Polo shirts for our Scout group at the mo...embroidered logo =£10 (or there abouts). Minimum order is 10...:)

Dave had a look for lanyards last night and they seem to be coming out at about £2 each:scared1: I know Debs had hers 'imported ' last year, hense the brilliant price...but if ppl would be interedsted i dont mind doing it :)
Or the polo shirts...I am partial to a Polo shirt..:thumbsup2, but could get good quality t-shirts ( also minimum order of 10 -embroidered) for £7 or so.
I made ours last year, but they just dont hold up to washing:laundy:
