Today we can say:

We are taking a Disney Med Cruise next month

It's so close now, so final tuning on the preparations are being made.

1.- Bought the train tickets from Madrid to Barcelona, it's the AVE train which is one of thouse high speed trains and it reaches Barcelona in 2.5 hours. We are leaving Madrid at 12:30 on tuesday 16th.

2.- We received DCL insurance booklet this week

3.- Booked Madrid and Barcelona city tours, also Toledo and Monserratt tours.


Also today is Florida_Mel's birthday: Happy Birthda

We are taking a Disney Med Cruise next month

Hello and Welcome SccrCali and Family, welcome to Diss too. Glad you came around in time, considering we are cruising very soon.

Please don't think twice to ask any info regarding cruising with DCL that could make your vacation a lot better.

California is a loooooong flight from Barcelona so my recomendatio in not to leave your flights till final cruising day.

Just like Florida_Mel mentioned we need to match your Diss profile name and your Facebook name before approving your request so please do give Us that info by Private messaging us. Hope to see you there very soon.

Don't despair about the wristbands b/c I ordered a few more units over the list just thinking about last minute families but I would rather wait untill I receive them (any day now) and count them before I can give you defenatly yes (90% chance you will get them)

On facebook I used my DH's work research account called Melkae Eaobuin. We didn't want to use our real accounts because the group name has our sail date and best not to advertise we a gone. DH gets worried. Thanks for the welcome we are very excited. It's our second DCL cruise but my first time in Europe. So thrilled! Yes long flight. Disney booked all our travel and have us arriving 9am. A little worried but they hold the boat up to 2 hours if you are late and you book through them. Crossing our fingers all goes well. Are there any kids wanting to chat before? My DD is shy and would love some familiar people. She is dying to get into Vibe. She is almost 13 and looks older. We are Disneyland-aholics and try to go as often as we can. We are very much a Disney family! So glad to find others as excited as I am!

My DD is 13 and there are few teenagers on the cruise that will make her more than welcome

45 Days untill sailing day and 35 days untill we get on the plane to Spain.

Practically there.

Today peeps started to get their GTY stateroom assigned, so, all it's left is for the actual cruise to happen.

Still waiting for the wristbands to arrive, I'll give it till next week before I start making some calls; I know they are in the mail though.

It's official now, there are NO Staterooms available in any of the Aug Med Cruises. The ships have filled Up.

Don't dispair, there might still be chances for a free upgrade, but you must wait untill the dock. GTY staterooms have been assigned.

And the Euro Mouseketeers have passed the 100 members; boy are We a large group.

Lot's of exitement today among the Euro Mouseketeers since the Disney Cruise Line packages started to be delivered.

Once you receive that package it puts you in the "Wake Up ! It's time to cruise" feeling.

I haven't received mine yet but the feeling is there

It's defenatly the time to review all your vacation itinerary and to make sure it's all there, or at least to highligh what to do ? and focus in the very important paperwork like hotel reservations, passports, kids traveling permits (in case only one parent is traveling), etc.

If you have missed something you still have one month to solve it.
