Ettiquite question

I would graciously accept the gift and when I went to thank them tell them you appriciated the year long gift for doing thier snow.

Also, if you are giong to be doing this for every snow storm (and since you have an incentive for your family it looks like you will) consider the gift cards a down payment for future services rendered, and enjoy your dinner!!! Then, next year when this happens again, you can say, "We really appreciate your gift, but once was enough as a thank you and we don't need anything else in the future."

Wish we could get some snow down here - it's been THREE years since we had any worth talking about, and I want a snow day!!!!

My DH plowed about 1/2 dozen of our neighbors out last year,

Now, we lived in a pretty affluent community, you'd think these people would have paid help lined up to plow, but...nope, DH moves in w/ his truck & plow he uses for his own stuff, & our phone was ringing off the hook, DH did it with a smile, while I was stuck home w/ 2 babies & no milk!:scared1: .

He gladly did our babysitters house, & the elderly couple across the street, a few more, & then got a call from our neighbors who have a 2 mile long driveway out to the ocean, they were nice enough to repay us by taking us out to eat.
Maybe you could invite the neighbors to the Outback with you?
Some of the others he helped brought a bottle of wine over, etc. THe best was a heartfelt thank you card from the association.

Needless to write, we have moved & cant wait for snow this year, as that will not be happening in our new neighborhood!!!LOL! ;)
