I also think they should get rid of the pre-show or at least the passport part.

We got there first thing in the morning each day(DS3 and DS4 loved it) and asked if we could bypass the pre-show. They let us do it everyime.

It is a way to hold more people and keep them busy before the actual ride.

I'm another E.T. Fan. I love going on that ride. I love the queue area and the preshow. I love it how E.T. butchers my name every time. It adds to the "magic", so to speak.

I am not familiar with E.T.'s smell; I've never noticed any smell in the queue. What does it smell like?

They better get rid of Earthquake LONG before they get rid of ET. I still love ET! Unlike Back to the Future, ET will forever be classic and does not seem dated.

We always go on ET as the last ride before we leave the park no matter how many times we ride it during the day. It just leaves us with a good feeling. And we like to speak like ET for the rest of the night.

The Mummy kicked E.T. out in Universal Hollywood and the Mummy kicked out Kong at Universal Orlando!!!

They have to replace BTTF first and from the looks of it, that's been delayed as they "take it off the drawing board."

At least ET is a ride. When the wife and I visit USF to take a quick tour, we go on The Mummy, MIB, ET, then leave. It's a ride, and the queue is cool.

I agree, especially about the cue. Next time I go this will be a great ride for my new step daughter, I think its a good slow ride, real cute and the flying bikes are cool and unique in my opinion. Really feels like your flying.

ET is awesome! You start out helping ET escape to his home planet, then you arrive at his planet and it is so trippy. Whoever designed it mush have been on drugs - it is hillarious! And that plinky-plinky music kills me! Long live ET!
(besides, DH says my grandmother looks like ET)

My 7 yo son just watched ET tonight for the first time, and is looking foward to the ride!

Make sure he listens very carefully to ET at the very end to say his name. Sometimes ET mumbles.

E.T. is amazing. The smell should be bottled up and sold in the gift shop it's so good. Aside from that, the baby E.T.'s on the home planet are my favorite.
