Esthetician doesn’t want to wax me

Two weeks ago I got my stomach waxed just to try it out before I scheduled a wax below the belt. I told her That I will be scheduling a manzillian. She said she just started doing men and she had 4 guys get it done. So I scheduled a appointment for this morning. Got a text from her this morning saying she’s having trouble with her melting pot and she will have to reschedule. First you will think they will have a back up melting pot they can’t be too much money. The time I had opened back up online. So maybe it got reopened up by mistake when she cancelled mine.i doubt it. I asked her if it will be ok to reschedule for tomorrow and she said I’m not sure when the pot will be fixed, I have to double check warrant issue. So your pot is broken down and your going to wait until the pot is fixed. No one will do that she will be losing a lot of money waiting until the melting pot is fixed.
im guessing she woke up thinking I don’t want to see that old man naked. I have to cancel it. Wish she will just be honest. I know lots of esthetician are shy and they don’t want to wax men. Maybe she just wants to wax young good looking men.Just maybe everything she told me was the truth.highly doubt it.

I think you’re being too insecure. I’d assume if she was squeamish about waxing old man junk then she wouldn’t offer that service in the first place. The melting pot is probably broken like she said.

Firstly, you are CRAZY :scared:

to want such an inexperienced esthetician anywhere near your genitals. It's a painful procedure at best and you risk serious injury if her skills are not top-notch. Find somewhere else to go that's reputable and has a far longer history doing this service and lots of favorable reviews.

Secondly, you may be right she just doesn't want to perform this service on you for whatever reason, or maybe she's stopped doing men altogether - it isn't very professional that she may have obfuscated the reason for cancelling. That said, go ahead and post an objective review of your experience but again, do you want your junk waxed by someone who isn't 100% comfortable doing it? No, you really don't.

I can't speak to her motivations but waxing is very easy to do at home. Here's a kit from amazon

It's actually quite similar... Just have to follow the directions, be careful, and use common sense.

Not enough information to assume it's personal, but if you are feeling concerned, I would go with someone more experienced & established. I would think that people don't generally commit to a field like this unless they have a full understanding that their clients will be of all sizes and ages
