ESPN Weekend at MGM?

We will be at WDW Mar 1- Mar 9. I had scheduled us at MGM on Sunday, March 5. Now I saw something that said this is ESPN Weekend there. What exactly is this and how will it affect crowd levels?

Basically they broadcast a few select shows live from the Studios, have some non-televised events (meet-n-greets) and a special parade. There will be some ESPN personalities and some athletes
