ESPN The weekend

Is this weekend exceptionally crowded? Has anyone had experience during this time?

I took my 2 sons last year for the first time. The crowds were minimal, even in MGM, where the ESPN festivities are held. My boys had a ball

I'll be there this year. Was there any chances to meet any of the athletes? or other celebs for that matter?

when is ESPN weekend? I remember reading about it but can't remember any details! What type of activities do they have?

It is March 2 – 4, 2007. I am taking my husband. This will be our first time attending.

Went last year, and it wasn't too crowded. It's a good time, and you'll get plenty of chances to get autographs and photos with some of the athletes that are in attendance. They do live question & answer sessions, do shootings of live TV broadcasts like Baseball Tonight, have interactive areas set up where you can have competitions to shoot hoops, take slapshots, pitching a baseball, etc. It's a fun weekend.

I'll be going this year, hoping to meet some baseball player and maybe Steve Phillips. BF and I aren't scheduled to arrive until the 3rd, but I'm thinking I may come down a day earlier so I can spend more time at ESPN the Weekend.

It's less crowded than Star Wars Weekend.
usually there are quite a few activities for guests, so all the crowds are dispersed.
I don't even like sports, and I enjoy ESPN Weekend.

We will be attending ESPN the weekend for the 2nd year in a row. What a great time. this time we plan to go Bass fishing and am looking for 2 more people for a full boat. The cost is $200 or $250 per boat of 5 we 3 in our family who fish and wanted to know if anyone would like to share our boat. Please let me know.

We will be fishing on one of the following days. March 1, 5,6 or 7th

My fiance and I were there last year. Crowds weren't bad at all. It seemed like any other day, crowd wise. We got to meet Jerry Rice, Donnie Edwards, and Takeo Spikes. I just happened to bump into Clinton Portis when we were walking around. He was real nice and took a picture with me.
