ESPN The Weekend... anyone been to it????

Just wondering what activities are going on at MGM during the ESPN Weekend. Also does anyone know where in the park they are based? How does it effect crowd levels?

Been to then for the past 2 years. There are no real activities per-say. But they do filming of allot of there shows from in front of the Sourcers Hat at MGM. It usually takes place majority of the day. Also Millionare is switched to sports for that weekend with usually some famous guest there as well. It has very little effect on the parks as far as rides go. But if you loose your man, chances are thats where you will find him.

He'll be eating his Cold Pizza, while PTI for some Around the Horn.

I had thought this might be nice for DH, but decided it's not worth a week during Spring Breaks. Wish they had it in a different month.

we are planning on going over in 2006...if it is only talk shows though - I may rethink!

I was wondering about it too. We have talked about going down this week. It's also my parents 30th wedding anniversary. Nothing booked though. I have read some info on it. I've read some stuff about "athlete/celebrity appearences". Do they say who's going to be there before the actual dates?
