Espn not moving till 2011 or 2012?

When we went to BWV this past June, I asked the manager of ESPN about them closing and he said the following: "Disney must have 3 entertainment sites on the BW, and the contract does not expire until 2011 or 2012." The 3 sites he is talking about are Jellyrolls, ESPN, and Dueling Pianos.

Don't know of the TRUTH of this, but thought I would pass it along...

Isn't Jellyrolls and Dueling Pianos the same thing???

Also, Atlantic Dance Hall is on the BW.

The rumor going around (also reported on jimhillmedia.com a few months ago) is that Disney Quest will be closing in 2008 and that building will be the new ESPN Zone on Disney property. The current location at the Boardwalk will be redone as a new entertainment venue.

Sorry, I meant to say: ESPN, Jellyrolls and Atlantic Dance are the 3 'entertainment' venues to expire in 2011....

I know there have been rumors about ESPN moving to DisneyQuest. I have heard and seen that Jellyrolls is pretty popular. Is Atlantic Dance??

I wonder if anyone has come across rumors or has a speculation on what they will replace ESPN with if it does move....and if they will change Jellyrolls and/or Atlantic Dance, and to what??

Just curious. I like the rumor speculation threads.

Personally, I would have no idea. Anyone else?? I know there are much more creative minds on here than me.

Since Disney owns ESPN, I think it probably doesn't matter what the contract says. When DQ is converted to an ESPN Zone, and they find a better use for the BW ESPN site, it will close regardless of the date.
