How is the food there? What about the service? Is it really busy at lunch time? Worth the $$?

Hi Terk,

The food is typical "pub" food...burgers, chicken, etc. Just don't order anything too fancy and you'll be fine. We've been there five or six times and the service has been fine.

It's usually not too bad for lunch, except weekends during the football season.

I ate at ESPN Club for the first time in December and I was very pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I had a grilled portobello sandwich, and it was delicious! The bread was very good, and the veggies were marinated and grilled just right - not too soggy, but moist and flavorful.

The service was good, and I enjoyed the atmosphere. I ate an early lunch (around 11:15) since it was my last day at WDW and I had to get ready for my flight. It wasn't very busy at that time, but I don't know how busy it gets during later dining times.

Kaycee, you're absolutely right...I've had that grilled portobello dish a few times and it is very good!!

We always enjoy our meals at ESPN. The service has been great and the food, delicious. I think they have the best nachos around. :)

I went there last week for dinner with my nephew (age 7). He is a real sports fan and loved it. He had chicken tenders and fries, which were ok, he enjoyed them and I had a veggie burger (looked like a Boca) which was seriously overcooked. It started raining right after we arrived, so the line to get in became really long. We sat in the bar area and there were plenty of seats available, so we sat down right away. The food is just ok, but if you like sports and want a fun atmosphere, go there.

We love the wings at ESPN! Thsi place has good quality food for a decent price. The sports theme is a bit hit with DS and DH.

DH and I had lunch there last November during the height of football season. It was a Satdurday so there were college games on every TV. Lunch time was not overly busy. But there were some die hard fans in different areas depending on the team they were supporting. We had no preference for a game so we got a table right away. I had rotissarie chicken with mashed potatos and veg. DH had a club sandwich. Both were very good and the service was fine.

You should have seen the line into that place on Sunday for the NFL games and Monday night was even worse. So timing is everything at ESPN depending on the season.
