Mizzou is looking great this year (loved seeing them beat Colorado last night :yay:) and the Mizzou/Kansas game on Nov 24th is quickly shaping up to be a very big deal. We will arrive in WDW on the 24th and we really, really want to see the game. I don't know what channels might have it but I am sure it will be on somewhere. I was wondering if maybe the ESPN Club might be our best option. How is the setup there? Can you see a TV from everywhere? Is there a way to know what game they will be showing?

Thanks!

There are TVs everywhere at the ESPB Club. There's not one table or chair that doesn't have a view of a TV. There is one big screen that will be showing the featured game but you can ask to get just about anything on the other TVs around the place. There's just not one game shown.

Depending on the time of your game and when you are arriving, you could have diffculty getting into the place, though. The 24th is the Saturday after Thanksgiving and Disney World will be packed. Get to the Club as early as you can for the game. You won't be able to just walk in there and get a table. You will have to wait.

Once the TV schedule is set, you might want to consider just watching it in your room. Disney does get ESPN and all its little sisters. Plus the regular netowrk channels. That could be a fall back if the ESPN Club is too crowded.

I would much prefer it if the game was in the room. That is our arrival day and I just don't look forward to having to go out to a crowded place to watch the game but we might have to make the sacrifice. ;) I think the problem will be that if ABC decides to make this the evening Saturday game it will be a split national brodcast. Either the Mizzou/Kansas game will be shown or an ACC/Big East game according to what I have seen. My guess is that the local Orlando station will show the ACC or Big East game instead of Mizzou/Kansas. If ABC decides to show the OK game at night then the Missouri game will be in the afternoon on Fox Sports and I know the resorts don't get that channel. I guess I just really, really, really need ot hope that the Orlando ABC station will show the Big 12 game. Is there any hope for that?

We didn't think ESPN was worth it. We have been to the one in D.C. and Baltimore and the one at WDW is small, limited menu (our opinion) and would probably not eat there.

The resorts do have the Fox channel. We are just back from the BWV and we watched the World Series, and the Red Sox (Yeah Red Sox) on Fox several nights.
ESPN has line forming way before a big game. You can wait in line a long time.
I think you are correct to worry though. I think the game on the local channels will be the ACC/ Big East games. You may need to go to ESPN and sit in an area you can control the broadcast.
Good Luck

The resorts have Fox but not Fox Sports which is what channel the game will be on if it is played in the afternoon.

I guess in the end we may miss it but I really wish it would work out for us.
