I'm looking for other peoples' recent experiences with the VIP tables at ESPN Club for Sundays during football. Other threads I have read say that they reserve you a table near the game you want to see and it's a $50 food and beverage minimum per person in your party. I have called twice now and both times have been told that they only reserve tables for this around the big screen in the "VIP section" and if your game is not on the main screen, then you're pretty much SOL. Anyone else been told the same? I'm frustrated because I'm willing to spend the $50 minimum per person as long as they put us near our game!

1) Yes, from everything I have seen when there.
2) You do not have individual TV's and you take what is offered.

My husband and I did this a couple of weeks ago for the late afternoon Sunday game. I hope I can answer your questions. I misunderstood the manager I spoke with when I made the reservations. I thought we would be in the main room on the floor, when actually the VIP seats are the next tier up in the main room. There are 9 VIP seats on each side of the room, set up sort of as a semi circle facing the big screen. All the VIP seats face the screen with each one having a small one top as a table.

Our game was on the big screen but there were others in the VIP section watching other games. There are several tvs mounted above these seats. We watched other games during commercials and they were very easy to see. Of course, you have no audio though. My husband is taking my son in a couple of weeks to do it again and he is planning on the VIP seats again even if his game is not the featured game. Our server was great and I would do it again except our younger son does not like football.

Hope this helps!

I understand that each table does not have an individual TV screen but considering they label all of the TVs with which game is being shown on it, I was under the impression from other threads that they will place you at a table with a view of the game you want to see.

This is helpful. I suppose we'll have to take our chances that one of the other TVs is showing our game. Just annoying that for the amount it costs, they can't figure out how to sit people near the games they want to see!

This is the first time I have read this. We are going October 2014 and would love to surprise my husband with VIP seats to watch the Patriots:cool1: Did someone say that you can only watch not hear the game or is that just on the smaller tv's? How soon do you need to make reservations and how do you go about doing it? No matter what game is on the big TV I will definitely score big points with this surprise!!:thumbsup2

1) That is right.
2) Yes, you have a small screen(s) available.
3) But, without sound, I feel it is like no TV.
4) Football without sound is like MTV without music. *

* Let me take that back. MTV doesn't play music videos any more.
Oh, for the old days,
. . . when MTV was about music
. . . when kids were afraid of their parents
. . . when Black Friday was really on a Friday
. . . when your clothes didn't have to match
. . . when you ate everything your mom makes at home.
. . . when people stopped shopping when they ran out of money
