How hard is it to get into the ESPN Club for dinner on a Thursday night? There is no football that night, but I'm sure there will be other games.

We are thinking of 5:30-6PM

Thanks...

Well if your talking in the next month or so...thurs. night is a college football night...so there are games (even if only cheesy teams like FSU playing on thrus)..still it wont be that hard...it really picks up around 7 so you still have families coming in and out earlier in the day and not to many game long squatters...

Remember that MLB Playoffs start soon too. There are no ADRs at ESPN - seating at the bar is first come and has a full menu. The Bar area is lots of fun if you want to watch a game (or games)

It's usually not that hard, but like the last poster said College Football is on Thursday nights & over the next several weeks you'll also have the MLB playoffs so it will probably get a little busier. You shouldn't have too much of a problem though.

Yea I agree, the bar area is great. That's actually where we usually sit because the wait is less, the service is quicker, & I love it b/c of the assortment of games that are usually on!

thanks... all.

We will be there the first week in November.... Jersey Week! Guess we need to get to dinner no later than 6 to stay away from the folks grabbing seats for the games.

Yea definitely no later than 6 or else you'll have some sort of wait. We usually shoot for sometime between 5 & 5:30 & we usually have no problem.

Great info! We didn't hit ESPN Club that last time we were at WDW, but I think I'm going to add it to my list for our next trip. Since hubby and I are both big sports fans, I think it's almost a "must" for us.

Yea it's definitely great for any sports fan. Just keep your expectations in check. Don't go in expecting a 5 star meal lol I'm not saying the food is bad, it's definitely good, but like I said don't go to ESPN & expect california Grill lol A lot of people make that mistake & then get real dissappointed in ESPN.

Being sports fans: pizza, burgers and wings type food is good for us. I think we've gone out for "fine dining" twice: our wedding and our first anniversary. It was nice, but we're much more comfortable in a place like TGIFridays or Applebees.

ESPN Club, IMO, has the best hot dog on Disney property.

That's perfect, you'll love it then!

Hubby may want to go for that reason only. The man would live on hotdogs if I didn't cook for him.

You should be fine before 6:30-7-ish - just be forewarned that if you go later, or stay later, and have little kids, it can become VERY loud in there, to the point that you can't hear each other at the same table. We ran in late one night with DS (I think 4 at the time) to grab something quick to eat & it was a total party atmosphere. Large groups drinking heavily & becoming intoxicated, and loud beyond belief! I understand that's how it gets in there & we were fine with it, I just wanted to pass that along to anyone else with little ones - don't go in expecting a quiet meal!
