Escape Weddings - What to do after?

I need to get my planner organized and look into these places! Good thing my family isn't picky about food, but I would love to put centerpieces in if possible.

thanks again!

There will be 16 of us for our wedding and we wanted to do something different and casual for our dinner so we are having it at Raglan Road Irish Pub in DTD. They have a private room called the Snug and set menus for private functions as well as bar packages or you can just order off of the regular menu. There are some decorating options available as well. I'm sure the Guiness will be flowing freely that night!

hi there
11 months goes by very quickly. Good luck with your planning. Epcot has some wonderful places too!

Hi, it's been a while since I've been on, but I just wanted to add that you can have a ballroom with the escape. We've reserved the St. James ballroom at the Boardwalk. It's a little pricey, but I think it's worth it to not have to deal with carting everyone around Disney, plus you get to choose your menu and all of that stuff. With alchol and food, it's a little less than $100 per person, we're also having a dessert party. We're going to bring an Ipod and speaker and have an open bar and just have the room to relax in. We're having 18 peeps so... If price isn't really a major concern I would definately look it to it, and you can plan it all very easily with your planner. He/She will take care of all the details and extra contracts, that's not always the case if you do a resturant. Good Luck!:goodvibes

Here's our plan:

Ceremony at Sea Breeze Point at 12:00. We decided to have the cake and champagne there instead of taking it to the restaurant because, let's face it, I don't think I can wait long for cake.

Afterwards, I suggested to our guests that if they want to change, they can and to meet us at the Tambu Lounge in the Polynesian for drinks and light appetizers. They open at 1pm for drinks and I know they don't serve appetizers until 5:00, but since we're staying there I'm going to see if they technically allow me to do "room service" to the Tambu Lounge or take-out something from Kona Cafe. ;)

We have a 5:00 reservation at 'Ohana for dinner and then we're boarding at 8:45 for a small dessert party on the Grand 1.
