Escape Wedding Cake and Champagne Celebration

We are doing the Escape Wedding Package (Basic) and are having our ceremony at the Wedding Pavilion.

Question is where is the Cake and Champagne Celebration held in the Grand Floridian Resort?

My grandmother is unable to walk long distance so we are trying to figure out whether or not to rent a scooter to go from Wedding Pavilion--Cake Celebration--Grand Floridian Cafe'.

The cake cutting is held on the Commander's Terrace at the GF, which is on the second floor, just a short way from the monorail platform. Then the GF Cafe is downstairs, not too far away. HTH a little!

There is an elevator right there too!

My planner Kathleen told us that the limo will be used to transport guests to the Cake Cutting in the GF after the ceremony at the WP. I figured that we'd be walking but she said although it's of course a doable walk, most people use the limo especially if it's hot outside!

Our wedding is 10/4/2010 so it wont be sooo hot. I was considering my grandmother, but just realized I will have a HUGE dress to carry

Does anyone have any experience with the GF Cafe'? Our 18 guests will have a selection of 4 or 5 items on the menu, so we have to narrow it down...just wondering of a preferred menu item
