Wow it has been quiet on here the past few days!

Blue Bayou I am glad you are loving WDW, hope you have a great trip.

Nothing much is going on here at the moment, we are all busy with work. Pete's school had the inspectors in last week and we are expecting them within the next few months too. I was quite happy this morning too as I managed to order some of our favouite wine which we have previously only found at WDW (only in the Contemporary or the Brown Derby) or on the room service menu at the Bellagio in Vegas. A few weeks ago when we were in London we asked in the Harrods wine department to see if they could get any. Well they said they would get some in for us and send it to us which they are doing. I ordered 6 bottles this morning!! This wine you can not buy anywhere else in the UK!! So we are going to save it for Christmas time I think.

Well I am supposed to be spending today doing housework, so I guess I better get on with it. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

I'm sorry I've been MIA lately - life has been very busy!!!!!

I've been trying to catch up at work, after being shut down for almost one week.

I had a very busy weekend, with many activities, and now I"m trying to catch up around my house.

Sometimes I love being very active, and other times, I wish I could just be home.

I need to catch up around here, and see what's going on.

Trying to plan our November trip. I need to try and get a ressie for one of the pricness meals. lauren got the part of Belle in the school play and my neighbor is making her the most beautiful Belle village dress. I need to get pics of her with Belle. How fun. I may need to pull the deployment card and see if that will get me a spot. They are all booked as of right now. I will try to work some magic.

Hubby will be home in 5.5 weeks- the day before we leave for Disney. Poor guy....

I'm back! It was hot, hot, hot and humid while I was there, but we still managed to have a great time (naps helped).

BB is there right now and I don't remember gefric's return date.

cheeringmom - Does WDW give special treatment to those that have a deployed family member? If so, I would definitly use it, because you and your family deserve happiness while your DH is away

ibounce - I keep hearing how it is unseasonably hot there, which is the total opposite of how it was last year when I was there - it was unseasonably cold. I had to wear my gloves almost the entire time we were there I'm glad you had a good time!!!!

Which meant no rushing to do homework last night, and no rushing to get them out the door this morning I wish I could take advantage of them being home, and have the day off today, but I'm still catching up from being shut down, and I'm actually going to work early today

WDW trip -

I stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge - Jambo House.. I do love it there.. My friend M and I shared a room and we had the DDP.

First night was Kona Cafe with MAC and some others.. it was wonderful, Sunday, We did a snack for breakfast, had big yogurt and granola cups, . and coffee. then off to AK to fast pass safari,. did dinosaur, then rode safari, Nemo, lunch at flametree, Lion King show, meet up with the ladies and chatted outside of the pizza place, then saw the parade and hopped..( did I mention that is was mid 90's.. talk about melted me, it was so hot and humid.. forgot makeup.. not that I ware any anyway.. LOL)

at MK Mac, M and I ate at Tony's.. I had fish and it was a great meal although the waitress was a bit surley.. after dinner we meet other ladies, did MK including laugn floor, buzz, and hall of presidents, we split and some went on Haunted Mason, I saw Wishes...a few more things like Philharmagic and then onto the buses..

Monday M and I had a full breakfast, it came with eggs, mickey waffle, sausage, bacon and juice and water..then off to Epcot - we did F&W, saw EnVogue.. they were very good.. met MAC for dinner at LeCellier.. wonderful meal..I had the filet.. it was so good..Illuminations, spaceship earth and back to AKL

Tuesday was a resting day.. M and I met 2 other ladies from the DIS ladies group for breakfast at Boma.. it was great..we sat and talked and enjoyed each others company plus we had real coffee..
then M and I sat by the pool and relaxed..at 3 it was time to get ready for MNSSHP. I love this party.. we got to enter mk at 4 and rode rides, had a dole whip and when it was time trick or treated and oogled the costumes.We saw Hallowishes and found a spot for the late parade.. met KImRaye and her family.. great to see her again..

Wednesday was late start , after all those late nights.. lazyed around, leisurely had breakfast and then off to Epcot, did the land, soaring and ate at F&W..then MAC, M and I went to the wine tasting from King Estates.. great show but I have not gotten over that it was free last time and this time it wasn'T any different and we paid.. I may never do this again.. we ate at Chef's.. the food was good, but the service let much to be desired.. they served the food at different times, Mac said hers was not as hot as it should be, they tried to give M 2 soups.. they were very much off..plus we did not see Remy.. Mac was telling me about her issues and how they charged her dining plan twice and what she need to do to get it fixed.. well just then Chef's charged me twice.. and they were less than Magical about it.. the desk at the hotel fixed it..

Thursday. M 's feet were hurting, so we were low keyed.. went to DTD, shopped at the kitchen store and World of Disney, ate BIG sundaes at GHiraldelli, took the boat to OKW and I showed her around, then boated it back and hopped a bus for AKL. We met a friend of mine that lives in Orlando area for dinner at Boma's.. the meal was great and then we did the night vision glasses and sat and talked and talked and talked in the library off the main lobby..

Friday was MGM - Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Great movie ride, American Idol Muppets and Toy story.. we ate at a counterservice.. it was okay..but we took the boat from MGM to Epcot and saw the players in UK, Sister Hazel and then met Nc Belle and Beast in Italy for dinner at Tutto Italian.. great day ..

the whole trip was so magical and relaxing and I am so ready to do this again... so count M and I in for next year..

yep. I got back late and then left to view colleges with Eric.. Indiana U, Purdue, Ohio state and Miami of Ohio..

Gefric, sounds like a great trip. It was miserably hot while we were there also...lots of afternoon breaks.

NC Belle, we need a recap of your trip!

Can't wait till Sher is home and can hear about their FIRST visit to WDW.

Three weeks from today, I'll be at Disneyland for my birthday. This morning I made a rule...no sugar or fried foods till then! We'll see what happens.

I may break down and do a few chores this morning. I just need to emulate slo for one day...imagine what I'd get done!

Keeping busy here as normal.

Thursday night Stephanie had a soccer game in the freezing cold rain - it was not fun!!!!!Luckily, we were able to sit in an open air pavilion, so we didn't get wet, but we did freeze!!!

Yesterday was a busy working day (not with customers, just work) and then last night was fun fair night at Katie's school. I was hoping to get home early, but Stephanie was having such a good time with her friends, that we ended up not getting home until 9pm.

Today, Stephanie has another soccer game, but not until noon. The sun is out now, and I"m hoping it stays out The cold doesn't seem so bad when the sun is out. After today, Stephanie has one more game left - I'm so glad!!! This has been such a sucky fall to play soccer

Tomorrow is my birthday, so we are spending it by going out to breakfast, going to the pumpkin patch, and the County Line Orchard to get some doughnuts and a birthday carmel apple - yummy!!!!! I would then like to get a stuffed pizza, and go home The weather is suppossed to half-way decent, so I'm hoping it will be a good day

And the farm just 'above' Cleveland is/was Mr. Kraft's (we called him "Cheese") farm and that's the barn where I loaded tons of hay and shoveled lots of.....well, you know. Those fields are where we road when they didn't have growing crops in them.
