I see you Geffric. Would love to see pics

SLO it is never easy to fire someone but you made the right decision. There will be tons of people dying to get that empty slot on your payroll!

Dana, sorry to hear about your BF's moving. We are military and it happens to us all the time and never gets easier. Just make the effort to stay in touch and I know they will do the same.

Off to finish up some errands

I am so tired of this winter too!!!
I really need the fresh air, and alot of it - I can hardly wait for spring :flower:
Did you get alot of snow?
We didn't get much, but it was enough for me to be annoyed.

Your right about it not being easy, especially when I'm the type of person that believes everyone needs a chance to improve and get better. I kept trying to get her to work harder, and kept trying to motivate her, but nothing worked - it's a shame!!!! :guilty:

Morning..

I am going to try SLO's stew today..

I put the picture of Eric and gf on FB SLO and CMOM as it was easy..

Well gang........I'm signing my baby up for kindergarten this morning:sad1:
If I"m not happy about signing her up, what am I going to be like in August when she has to go:sad1: The thought of sending her out the door by 7:30am makes me sad - her and I have our morning routine together. I better stop talking about it before it makes me sadder:sad1:

Well, I gotta run and get ready for work - we need to be at the sign-ups by
8:30am. I"m hoping to get all-day kindergarten, but that goes in a lottery, so there's not guarantee that I will get it. If I can't get that, than I'm praying for morning kindergarten, because I have no idea how I could get Katie to afternoon kindergarten.

Have a good day!!!

Hello Taglikins!

Another day at home recovering from my out-patient procedure. I had a 'spot' removed from ....hmmmm....where I sit....and several stiches. So I'm slowly building up sitting time as the wound heals. I got in my car yesterday and was able to sit fairly comfortably, so I headed out to the nearest drive through. I can only take so many days of home cooking. :lmao:

Today I will do a short run to the bank and maybe meet Peg for lunch. I think by tomorrow I should be able to handle the 30 minute drive to work and be able to put in a couple of half days on Thursday and Friday. I did not take any pain killers yesterday until nearly bedtime (my hips were hurting from too much of the 'reclining' position).

Slo, I can't believe 'the baby' will be ready for kindergarten. My how time flies!

.

Registration went well yesterday.
I warned Katie that someone will be taking her and asking her questions, of which she wasn't happy about:sad2: . When it was time for her to go, she went with no problem, which I was releaved about (she is a REAL mama's girl. On X-Mas Eve she was chosen to put baby Jesus in the manager, and she started crying, because I was lectoring and couldn't go with her (Stephanie offered to go, but that wasn't good enough), so I was thrilled she went w/o tears yesterday). While Katie was with the teacher, I had tons of paperwork to fill out. While I was filling out the paperwork, I could hear Katie answering her questions confidentally, and without nervousness, which I was releaved about:) . When we were ton, the whole thing took about 40min, so not to bad. Katie now says she is looking forward to school, but we'll see what happens in August - I think it will be a different story then:rolleyes:

ibounce - How is Peg doing? Tell her we miss her on here, and we would love to see her sometime.
*How are you feeling today? I hope you are feeling well enough to go to work like you wanted:wizard:
*Time DOES fly way to fast. I remember thinking my dad was NUTS when he would tell me that, and now I couldn't agree with him more.

Belle - :wave2:

Well, I"m off and running!
Have a good day today everyone!!!

morning..

job search went well yesterday.. had a phone inteview with a call back next week and an appt set for a different company in April..

Sanyo called yesterday and after trying to get the TV fixed for the past few weeks, they authorized ( SP) us to replace it.. so we went to Wal Mart and got a new Sanyo TV.. hope it works longer than the last one..

Tonight is a pasta party for the track team.. I am baking 4 corn creads for it.. and helping serve and clean up.

Geoff was at a meeting yesterday for the scout reach camping trip in August and will be working from the youth side to determine the program and get "volunteers" ..

Hoe your feeling better iBounce

Just a quick check in. Not going to work today or tomorrow...Peg yelled at me and said "THE DOCTOR SAID TWO WEEKS!" :lmao: Actually, I realized by yesterday afternoon that there was no way I could do it. Went out for one hour running some drive-through errands and by the time I had lunch and cleaned up us was exhausted!

it is a shame that you are so far away.. or it'd hang with you>>:surfweb:

Hey everyone,
I have just got back from a field trip with my class. We went to the seaside for the day!! We went to a sealife centre and saw lots of fish, sharks, seals and penguins. We also saw the seals they are helping in their seal hospital. Then we went down to the beach to look at features of the coast, the cliffs, rock pools etc which we are studying as our topic at the moment. We had a great day, the sun was shining (although it was cold, the north sea has a real breeze with it!) and quite a few of the children were so excited as they had never been to the seaside before.

I hope everyone else is having a great day.

:surfweb:

Danauk - Your field trip sounds fun!!!!:) I can imagine how exhausted you must be, because I remember how tired I would be after chaperoning daycare trips to the museums in Chicago. There's something very stressful about making sure all those kids are safe and not getting lost.

ibounce - Continued "get well" PD :wizard: :wizard:

Well, I'm off to get this Friday started!!!
Have a good day today everyone!!!

Morning everyone,
How are you all this weekend?

The play I went to see last night was OK, not as funny as we thought it would be, but I think that was the commedy timing of the actors rather than the script. Today Pete is at the theatre for a bit doing a music workshop, then this afternoon we are going to my favourite garden centre. I want some more Yankee Candle things plus I need to look to get some ideas for re doing bits of the garden in the summer. The bunnies have done some damage to the planting so I need to re think a few things!!

Hope you all have a good weekend.

I am preparing to have a weekend of nothing but rain, so I am going to run as many errands as possible today, so I can sit at home as much as possible tomorrow:thumbsup2

Danauk - Those pictures are great!!! Did that area get hit with all the snow? If so, it really melted fast!!!!
**I'm sorry your play was a bummer :guilty: I hate it when I build something up to be great, and then I was let down.
**Have fun at the garden center - I love going to those places too!!!!:)

Have a great day everyone!!!

Morning Taglikins! I left a couple of windows open last night, so it's chilly here in the computer room this morning! Looks like it will be a glorious day so I plan and going out and walking around a bit. Then perhaps a trip to my sister's house (cause I'm sick of my house after eight days). She has some comfy recliners with a view of her beautiful back yard, so it will be a nice change of sceanery. :thumbsup2

Glad you are on the mend. I stopped by your desk yesterday - only to see you weren't back yet. I'll be out and about all weekend - I can always make deliveries if you need anything. Just send me a PM if you need anything.

well it stopped raining.. sort of for a while anyway.. but my van has more issues.. DH called from the boy scout thing he was at.. couldn't get the key to turn in the ignition.. so I told him to flip the key and it will work.. he called back.. nope didn't work.. so I drive over there and try it with my key.. clicked the thingy on and off and DH rocked the car a bit but the key would not turn.. so I called motor club and they sent a tow truck. Well the guy can't tow it unless it is in neutral and my van was in park.. so he tryed it a few times and then said he had this happen before and took out his phone and whacked the key and got it to turn..and the car started. He then explained that the ignition was going bad. So I drove the van and DH drove the car to the fix it place and they will check it on Monday.. wonder what a new ignition costs???

So i am playing chauffer tonight.. drop Eric off, then Geoff and then pick up Eric at 9 and bring him and some friends to our house, take the friends home and pick up Geoff ..

Good morning everyone, just dropping in quickly before I start the mountain of school work I have to do today!

Geffric I'm sorry about your car, I really hate it when we have car problems, I really feel lost without mine.

ibouncetoo Glad you are starting to feel better.

Slo Have you advertised for a new employee yet or are you going to try to manage without replacing her?

Well today here seems really nice and sunny, a lovely spring day, except for the wind, it is so windy. I'm going to sit in the garden room all day and do my school work. I need to do my planning for my maths and English lessons next week plus do some planning for some 1:1 tuition the head has asked me to do with the children who have their exams this year. I have to do that after school so I am also trying to organise myself so I have time to still do my class marking that I would be doing in that time usually.

Oh well I guess I should stop putting off doing my work and get on. Then maybe I can get out in the garden this afternoon and start to out in some small fences we bought yesterday to go around the flower beds to stop the bunnies going on them and eating the plants!!

Have a good day everyone.
