Escape to Neverland - A new Tagliarchy adventure!!

Wallyb I'm glad you liked your package. I love those melts chocolates too!! And the other 'boys only' chocolate bar was a Yorkie. The slogan is 'It's not for girls!!' It is a very thick bar of chocolate though!! Yumm. I'm glad Stella likes her toys. I had never been dog toy shopping before.

Speaking of pets, we have nearly got our new bunny 'palace' built. The walls and hutch part are built and the grass is laid. We just need to let the turf settle before we put the roof on the hutch and let the bunnies move in. I think we should get that done next weekend. I have to say though, it is the most over engineered and poshest bunny hutch I have ever seen. The hutch part is so big that Pete is considering putting in a mezanine level!! Seriously, it's a bunny hutch!! I'll post some pictures when it is finished.

Well we got our other Cirque tickets booked tonight for Ka. I realised though whilst on the phone that on my American trip I am going to sound really posh. I don't know what it is, but when ever I hear an American accent I seem to realise how country English I sound!! I apologise now for those I might meet in August!! I honestly do not usually sound like the Queen!! I don't mean to do it, but my voice suddenly changes.

Well it looks like I might be going back to DLP in October with my parents. Well my parents don't know this yet!! But they have never been to a Disney park (I know, horror when their only child, by that time would have completed 7 Disney trips with another being planned - it looks like WDW for christmas 2009 is on!!!) so I figured a trip for their 40th anniversary, paid for by us should happen!! It will be strange though planning a trip not centered around coasters (my mum has a bad back and my dad, well I might convince him to try a few!!) But I figured with 4 day park passes (they come with the room) we can have some park time and go into Paris as well. It should be a nice trip. We will drive like last time, that worked really well. I am debating though wether to tell them where we are going. I am trying to figure if we could get them to visit our house for the week when we are off school. I could tell them to bring their passports on the pretence that we are going to Calais for the day to the hypermarkets (they have done this with us before so is plausable). I could say we wanted to spend the week with them for their anniversary so they will bring enough clothes!!

Humm, things to think about!!

I had such a productive day yesterday!!!
We went to the mall, and searched it from top to bottom for a spring coat for me to wear with a dress (I wanted it long), and there wasn't one to be found in the entire mall - I was so mad!!!! :headache: I asked Kevin, "It is only April isn't it?" He agreed that it was unbelievable that there were no coats to be found - how ridiculous!!! I told him that I need to open a store that's called "Always in Season" and it's a store where the season we are in, is the only type of clothes I'll sell - I think it sounds like a good idea!!!:thumbsup2 (I'm really not opening that).
Then when we came home (this is the productive part) I went outside and picked leaves out of my rocks for 3 hours, and completed the task :woohoo: (I have a lot of rocks, and there were ALOT of leaves). I wish my tree shed it's leaves in the fall, so I didn't have to do it in the spring, but it doesn't shed it's leaves until Jan/Feb. I was glad to have a decent day to do it yesterday, because it's so much easier to do before all the Purple Plum bushes get it's leaves. I tried using the blower for the first time, and I wasn't very talented at it:sad2: I told Kevin to tell our neighbor the next time they have a fire call that if he has some leaves in his yard, it's because of me:laughing:
So, that was my day yesterday!!!! :)

Well, I need get outside and go for my walk :cold:
Have a good day today everyone!!!

Wally - I'm definitly going to consider the knee replacements once the girls are old enough to take care of themselves completely. Until then, it would be so so hard to have the recovery (plus I need to be 100% for the store). Down deep I'm scared to death about having a knee replacement done because that's how my Grandma passed away unexpectedly 2 years ago. She went in for a knee replacement and never came home:sad1: . Granted, I know that doesn't happen to everyone, but naturally it scares me that it could happen to me.

Wow - well, I can understand your hesitation.
Can I ask - What was the error?

It seems like I need a new ticker, we are going back to DLP in October with my parents!! I decided I better ask them 1st and they said they would love to go!! So we are going for 3 nights in October and one of those nights is a Halloween party night!! I can't book it yet though as I have also decided to buy some shares in Disneyland Paris. If you own shares you get a 10% discount on the packages and 15% discount on all restaurants (table service and counter) plus 10% off in all European Disney stores. Plus inside the park there is a lounge called Salon Mickey where you can go and get free refreshments in the mornings. I actually worked out that the one off cost of the shares will be less than the savings just for this one trip!! Plus the shares are for life so the discounts are good as long as I own the shares!!

OK, so I have never bought shares before, so wish me luck!!

Danauk- Box heading your way tomorrow! ;)
Cheers,
WallyB

Ooh I'm glad Stella liked her toys. Although Cheeky and Figaro have just seen the pictures and they are slightly alarmed at the sight of a dog with a cat it its mouth (even though it is a toy!!)

Well she kinda nurses on it - not chew.
And she just had a cat house-guest for the weekend - Neely.
And the kitty was the boss!

Hi everyone! I have been MIA - just really busy with work.

I took today off because I had to sign all the paper work for the house mom is buying across the street from us. So I guess it is a done deal. I can't believe she is going to move out here.

Now I just need to figure out when I can take time off to help her move. Not a small task.

Hey....good news (I think)!

Hi kids.....busy here....will stop by in the morning....

She had a negative reaction to the morphine they gave her.
She was in a HUGE amount of pain (she had a double knee replacement), so the doctor upped her morphine, and it gave her a heartattack. There was no recovery for her after that. Her kidneys shut down, and it was totally downhill from there. The knee replacements were suppossed to make her life better, not end it:sad2: I was extremely close with my Grandma, and all this was a mega shock, for my mom and I. It was terrible!!!!:sad1:

Congrats on getting that house for your mom!!!:cheer2:
I'm so glad that it all worked out for you. :)

WOW again!
Now not to alarm you...
Does your doctor know about this? Could you have a similar reaction to Morphine or some other drug
with morphine or an opiate. You should check it out.
One of my business partners has odd reaction to pain killers.

Well this evening I set up a trading account and I just need to wait for my password to arrive so I can buy my DLP shares. The once I have done that I need to send the paperwork off to join the Disneyland Paris shareholders club. With the shares I am getting it is free to join and you get great benifits. So because of that I have decided I am going to book us into the Disneyland hotel (the one at DLP that is over the entrance to the park.) I've always wanted to stay there and I figured with the shareholders discount and the fact that I want to really treat my parents, well it's worth it!! But it's a secret!!

Well today I was supposed to be observed in my maths lesson but the lady doing the observation was off ill! Tomorrow I'm being observed for my hour maths lesson by the head. I'm so bored of observations now that they don't bother me any more!!

Danauk- keep your eye on the post.
They said 5 to 10 days.

My doctor doesn't know about this, because I've never been in a situation where I needed it (I had my gall bladder out 12 years ago, but I don't know what was given to me after that surgery, if anything). If I never need to have something done that requires morphine, I will be sure to tell me doctor about what happened to my Grandma, so they know my family history - thanks for making me aware to do this :)

WHAT? She already ate all the Oreos I sent her a couple of YEARS ago? :lmao: :lmao:

 Morning Taglikins!

Did I tell you I had to do emergency formalwear shopping? The ensemble I wore in Nov of 06 seems to be a bit problematical sitting down. So, off shopping I went, hoping to find something inexpensive at Ross. No luck, so went of to a 'real' store for women of size. Walked in, said I was looking for glitz, lady got a worried look, and said, "oh I don't think we have much right not, let's check the clearance rack". TWO things were on the rack, not my size, but I grabbed the black one and tried it on. LOVED it, just had to get a black shell to wear under it. It's a jacket with a deep V, satin lapel and lots of glitz. With the original markdow, additional 40% off and my perks card I got the $100 jacket for $24 bucks. SCORE!

Well, get to go to the dentist today for my semi-annual cleaniing. That's always fun. (actually it is, love the folks in that office)

Catch ya later, kids!

Hi everyone,
Well my observation went well. The head was in my room for an hour and 15 minutes. Then she took 6 children and their books to question them about their learning. They must have said the right thing as I was graded as good! My friends at work think it's really funny that I am buying DLP shares. They have said for ages I should own Disney with the amount of money and time I spend on it. And now I can say I do own a part of it!!

Wallyb bullying in schools is an issue, but I guess no more than it is in any other country. Schools have very strict policies about this and often children are suspended from school or in worse cases perminantly excluded for it. I'll sure be looking out for my parcel. It might take a few days longer as Monday is a national holiday day here in the UK (so I have a long weekend off work!!)

ibouncetoo I think the oreos you sent me lasted all of a few days!! They have started to sell them in my local superstore, but only the regular ones. That's one thing I will have to stock up on in the summer!! Well done on getting the bargin jacket!! Great score.

Slo How is your store doing? Did you get more customers after the event you did at the school?

Well better go, the bunnies need cleaning out!!

Oh - be bold - don't get the shell - and just wear the deep cut jacket.
We'll call it a hidden mickey. ;)
