I have three DCL excursions. A sail and snorkel (1/2 day) in Aruba, a 'Shopping, Flavors & Traditions" in Acapulco and the Cabo "Harbor Cruise & Scenic Drive". <----that one is pretty much sold out with DISers, so we will have a blast on it. In Puerto Vallarta I'm doing a Sea Lion encounter on my own (non-DCL) but there are several DISers going to that.

I'm just about all packed (some hanging things won't go in till Friday AM) and will fly on Friday. Staying at the Hyatt and will have a DIS meet there that night. Taking a hummerzine to the port with DIS friends. Then all the madness begins. I did get a group brunch in Palo in the private room, so that should be fun (I did a dinner there on my last cruise). We have a gillion DIS activities: champagne tasting, bunko, poker, "Shots Around The Ship" group lunch the final sea day, ladies tea, Fish Extender gift team, postcard exchanges....you know, the usual DIS madness!

OK...promised myself I'd be in bed by 10:30....so I'm outta here!

Yesterday was absolutly fabulous - finally a warm day!!!
It makes me so excited to be able to plant some flowers soon
My mom and I are going next Wednesday to do that - I can hardly wait - I love buying my flowers!!!!! :flowers: What I can hardly wait for even more, is that I can start having most Wednesday's off because my college employee is coming home - so excited!!!!! I love the fact that my staff is getting more and more experience


Wally - I could never forget Mother's Day, because I really deserve it If I was anything like my girls when I was younger, my mom really deserves it too

**I should have turned my air conditioning on at the store yesterday, but I just couldn't do it - I loved the fact that I was hot!!!!! I can hardly wait for some good 95 degree days, so I can float float float in the pool!!!!

Wallyb---I believe Bunco is a game...common with women in some areas...that has something to do with prizes for various winners-sounds like a girls' night of fun. I never had done the game, but Cadburysmom used to mention that she played in the past when she used to post.

back from the SAP Sapphire... it was in Orlando did lots of sessions and work tuff.. but last night the conference went to see Eric Clapton... he was wonderful. He did a 2+ hour show.. not much chatting , no intermission, just 100% songs.. he was wonderful..

but I am now back in the real world.. tomorrow i am downtown...

I had a nice day yesterday. My SIL and BIL came to visit with my nephew who is now 10 weeks old. Here's a quick picture!!

It was a lovely day so we went for a walk in the country park and then had a BBQ for dinner.

Well it's been forever again since the last time I visited the Tagliarchy. Time just escapes me these days.

Yesterday was Sophia's 1st Birthday Party. It was a great success with about 20 kids (ranging in age from 7 months to 12 years) and about 20 adults. I don't do birthday parties at our house, so we had it at The Little Gym. The kids had a great time, even Sophia. (Two of her boyfriends from her Little Gym class were there. ) Our princess still won't touch food, so her smoosh cake was pretty much still in tact when we threw it away - just a tiny corner missing where she had help with her spoon.

Hi everyone. OF and I went out tonight. We have season tickets to the summer musicals. Tonight was RAIN-The Beatles Experience. It was a fun show, and loud! My ears are still ringing.

Well I finally bought my DLP shares today and have faxed off my details to the shareholders club so I can become a member of that. They have a private lounge in the Disneyland park for members to relax and have drinks in which will be nice. Shame it's not like Club 33 though!! Once I have my membership number I can book our trip!!

We have a Land Sea packages booked -
we're at WDW in the AKL 27th - 29th
and the sea part starts 30th - 4th.

I wish I could tell you, but actually we haven't even really looked at the options yet. I guess we should do that this weekend since our booking day is coming up quick - May 19. I know our choices are limited with 2 small children so it should make our decisions easier.

I just booked our airfare today (Southwest)...I had to pay a little extra because the price went up while I was waiting for NC Beast for his opinion on the times. I hope that I can get price adjustment opportunities in the next month or 2 so I can used that towards the Boston area tickets.

I have to get some adrs changed and add a couple of more to our list.

Current adrs:
Sunday.. 8/24--- dinner at Crystal Palace, but I need to change it due to current plane schedule....may just do counter and use TS on a 2TS meal or 2 in one day later in the week
Monday 8/25--- Le Cellier lunch....veteran for dinner and in 2004- lunch

Tuesday---dinner at Tutto Italia...new to us

Wednesday---Yak and Yeti late lunch...new to us

Thursday---Ohanas for dinner......been there in 2004...RRBB announced to us about Ian there and its hard to believe its been that long ago.

Friday--- need ideas

Saturday--- The Wave.....new

Sunday---Liberty Tree dinner... new to us since we ate lunch here 2x

Monday (Labor Day)--- need to book

Tuesday--- we leave late afternoon so its most likely counter service



We wished that we could had done DL instead, but we want to be able to have the flight/easy east coast accessability while we wait for NC Beast's dad's condition to be better/stable. NC B. Dad's doctors are being positive (his old doctor should had this detected 2 years ago--- ) that he will be able to do their special 2 week cruise (48th anniversary gift to each other) in the fall---Mediterrean (spelt wrong sorry).

Good morning everyone
Well today is lovely and sunny so I think I will spend the day tidying up the garden. Pete is finally finishing off the bunny hutch so they can sleep outside now. Today though we have to take both cats to the vets for their booster injections. They both know they are going as they have been kept in after breakfast so Cheeky is currently hiding under the bed and Figaro is hiding under the sofa I am siting on! I need to take one of the new bunnies too as her teeth are growing at an angle and I think one needs filing back.

NCBelle I'd love to hear your reviews on the new Italian place plus Yak and Yeti. Where is The Wave located? I've never heard of that one. I wish we could book our ADR's for our August trip but we can't book them until 60 days before.
