I better make the rest of my ADRs today!
I better make the rest of my ADRs today!
Not long till you go now. What ADR's are doing?
Thankfully it's a slower time of year

I know I waited last minute!Thankfully it's a slower time of year
So far i've booked Jiko's, California Grill, Flying Fish, and Teppan Edo. I've never tried the first three so i'm excited. I need to make reservations for Kona Cafe and maybe Boma's. My friend's a picky eater so i'd like to let her choose what we want to eat. Eating is always the highlight of our trips![]()

We have been in January before and loved the low crowds. We didn't book any ADR's beforehand and still managed to get lots whilst we were there![]()
I can't help you on Flying Fish but I have tried Jiko and California Grill and loved them both. Both have great food and great atmosphere. As for Teppan Edo I am glad to see you have picked there. We plan to eat there in May and are looking forward to eat but it is good to know others enjoy it.
Oh and we love eating at Disney too, the trouble is choosing where![]()
Teppan Edo is a must for me! I've heard good things about Tokyo Dining so we might try there too.
Are you taking a trip next year? Maybe i'll see you thereYes we are going to be there April 26th-May 18th and I cannot wait. We are on the DDP for the first time and its going to be great. This year when we went we had so many ADR's we thought it made sense to try it. The trouble is we have lots of old favorites or ones we loved from this year we want to do again, and then loads of new ones we want to try. I think I have made the right decisions but have had to miss off a few I wanted to try... oh well theres always next time.
Are you doing a college programme there then?
I'll be working in a restaurant, I just don't know which one yet. Maybe you'll see me when you're there!Sorry to bother everyone but I had to make a survey for school and I need as many people to take it as I can, I need at least 20 of them done, thank you in advance. http://www.zoomerang.com/Survey/?p=WEB228KS3MSZBX
Seewhattimesdone ~ Yes I have been to Le Cellier and loved it. Both the food and setting are great, I would highly recommend it.
They do a DDP that you can do all TS restaurants but it is pretty expensive. We are thinking about maybe doing it for a few days next time just so we can do loads of restaurants. Then again one big meal a day is normally enough for me. But like you we much prefer TS and on our last trips have done mostly TS.
That so cool your doing the CP, I would love to do it. You will have to check in on here when your there and tell us where your based so we can come by and say Hi. You haven't got long to go till you do it then, are you going just after your vacation? Will you get much chance to try out the restaurants whilst your there then?
It's her first time to Florida so it should be awesome. So we're taking a vacation before the program starts. I'm hoping to try a few new restaurants each month. Maybe i'll start a food blog or something
Have you eaten at Le Cellier? I was thinking about trying it but i've heard really mixed reviews. We're not hard to please though so I think we'd like it![]()

TWO BIG![]()
for Le Cellier. It's one of my favorites. Last time I was there (exactly one year ago) eight of us ate there and everyone was very happy. We were fighting over Ed's side of grilled asparagus, so if you are a veggie lover, be sure and give them a try.
Hi Taglikins! Haven't had much of a chance to 'visit' but I'll probably be around a lot this weekend.....shirking my chores.![]()

Seewhattimesdone ~ Thats sounds really cool, and a great idea to add a vacation on to your journey. I'm sure you will have so much fun with your friend. If you like cocktails the two of you should spend some time going around the WS and trying all their different delights... thats a lot of fun.
Thats a great idea to try a few each month, and to write a blog too. We try one new WS restaurant every time we go, kind of a tradition. The San Angel Inn and Le Cellier are both great. And the ones you are planning on are great too. Have you thoguht about taking her for a character meal, they are always great fun no matter how old you are.
So for the college programme I guess you are staying there, where abouts? And how long are you doing it for? Sorry for all the questions but its really fascinating. I bet you will have the time of your life.
When i'm old enough i'd really like to go to the food and wine festival again. I hadn't thought about a character meal but now that you mention it I was thinking about maybe taking her to see the Grand Floridian and I know they have 1900 Park Fare so maybe we'll try there.
Unfortunately, i'm not 21 yet! I really wish the drinking age was 18 like in other countries. Since my parents were never afraid to introduce me to alcohal i've always been really responsible and never drank without being in their presence. I'll just have to wait a few more yearsWhen i'm old enough i'd really like to go to the food and wine festival again. The apartments we're staying at are literally right next to WDW. There are a few different complexes. I'm hoping to get Chatham because it's quieter and newer. It starts on Jan. 21st and officially ends on Aug. 7th but i'm going to extend into the fall so i'll be there a whole year. I'm so excited I can't even stand it!![]()
Ah thats a shame, but you will have it to look forward to in the future. I would love to go to the F&WF, I definitely plan to in the future.
If you go to 1900 Park Fayre you should go for breakfast. The food is really good and they have Tigger, Mad Hatter, Alice, Mary Poppins and Pooh and they are all a lot of fun. Or alternatively you could go to Chef Mickey's for dinner. Not only is it great food, and great characters it is a lot of fun too. We have booked it for our trip again and cant wait![]()
The apartments sound really cool. You will definitely have to post some pictures up when you get there. Someone I know did 2 programmes at WDW and stayed in the old Treehouse villas the first time, they looked so cool. I cant remember where she stayed the second time but it looked really nice. Do you know anyone else doing it already? With the programme do you just work at Disney or do you go to college too?
Seewhattimesdone ~ That is cool you have already met people. Do you get to choose your room mates then? And when you say room mate do you actually share a bedroom? I cannot wait to see your pictures. It kind of hard to understand things unless you can see it for yourself.
So I'm guessing you come from San Diego then? That is so cool, I really want to visit there. Do you go to SW lots? I really want to stay at the Hotel del Coronado, its looks so gorgeous. It actually reminds me of the Grand Floridian a lot which I love.
I'll make sure and take pictures when we get settledYou can only choose one of your roommates. But when you check in you can choose how many roommates you want. I think you can have up to eight and as few as four (including yourself). You will actually share a room with one person and then the others share their bedrooms. It's like a dorm but nicer. I can't wait to see either! I bought a new Lightning McQueen comforter for the bedI'll make sure and take pictures when we get settled
. When I went to university I took so much stuff with me to make my dorms look nice. Then again I am sure where you are staying will be a lot nicer than uni dorms. Thats cool you can chose how many people you want to share with, and who too. Do you have an idea of who you are going to choose at check in?
