Welcome back Ibounce... I was thinking about you yesterday when i saw pictures of the magic pullling into LA... the 2 weeks went by way to fast..I did see a picture of you in another DISers pictures.. looked like you were having fun...

SLO - It is so amazingly beautiful today.. and then tomorrow it will be 50??? What is with that!!! I think it is time to stay warm all of the time..

i am back from boy scouting.. whew I am tired.. but i went out and bought UV protection capris and tops for the cruise.. Saw those pictures where people were lobstered and fried.. and so as much as i love to be outside, thought I'd be protected.. not very attractive but SPF 30..

I had another wonderful, productive day yesterday!!!!!
I finally finished all my planting and then with the time leftover I was able to start cleaning up the girls playarea. It had tons of leaves in there from the winter and many sticks from the awful tree that's in that area too. It always feels so good to get stuff done!!!!


Now that all the planting is done, I'm a little nervous about the weather today. The news just said patchy frost I have so much planted, that's scattered all over the front and back yard, that I don't think I have enough covers to cover it all I don't know what I'm going to do I better figure something out, because I didn't break my back planting all this stuff, to have it die from frost .


Oh...I also made my ADR's for our trip coming up I didn't make as many as normal, since we are staying in the condo, and we'll have our own kitchen for breakfast (this will save us some money ).
Monday,MK Day - breakfast at Chef Mickeys, dinner at Kona Cafe
Tuesday, MNSHHP night - dinner at LTT
Wed, Hollywood Studios day - dinner at Sci-Fi
Thur, Epcot day - breakfast at Kona Cafe, dinner at Garden Grill
The other days we are there we are going to eat outside of the WDW or at the condo. It's weird to have such little ADR's, but like I said, it will save us a lot of money

BB - How's everything going with getting your mom moved in across the street from you?

geffric - I hear ya!!!! The weather here is so frustrating!!!!!




Well, I"m must get going and workout. I'm staying inside today, because I don't feel like going out in the cold and especially the wind It's frustrating that the last 2 days gave the girls and I tons of sunburn on our arms, and today I have to bring out my leather coat The joys of weather in the Chicago area.

Hey everyone,
Sorry I have been MIA for a few days, but I have hardly been in my house!! Sunday the inlaws came to visit, that seemed to go well (but I did have 2 glasses of wine for courage!) Then yesterday we went down south to see my nephew. Unfortunately the weather was bad (high winds and lots of rain) so we had to stay in the house, and my nephew was really grizzly all day. I don't have kids so it was total guess work as to what he wanted!! But we got through it!! Today we went shopping and then had to go to the inlaws house as Pete has been building them a computer and he needed to install it. I had a nice day shopping, bought some holiday (sorry vacation!) clothes, a tripod for my camera and some clinique make up as there was a bonus time on so I got loads of free gifts!!
ibouncetoo glad you had a fun time, can't wait to hear all about it.
Disneydarling love the name, welcome, do tell us more about yourself.
Slo glad you got all the planting done, I hope the weather holds out for you. I hope our weather gets better soon, I really need to get my new bamboos planted, but it has just been raining too much.

Tag Team - Hi All!

Well we have one more 2 day inspection before we break up for the summer, we expect it at the beginning of July (I'm really hoping it is the week I am away on camp with 30 of the kids!!) That inspection will determine what will happen next. Bottom line, if they don't think things have improved the head teacher gets fired. As for the rest of us, not a lot happens except more inspections!!
BTW, loving the cancan girls. Have you ever been to Paris to the Moulin Rouge? It is a great show, although it is located in a somewhat adult part of the city should I say!!

Right better get to bed as it is nearly 1am!!!! I have to get the bunnies to the vets by 9am. Jessica is having her operation tomorrow to have her teeth removed and Jasmine needs to see the vet after her course of eye drops for her infection. But I know she is fine now as the infection has cleared up.

It got cold here last night, but not as cold as I originally thought it would. It is currently 43 degrees here I hate this cold weather!!! I wish it would get warm and stay warm!!!!!

Well Jessica Rabbit is back from the vets, she had 6 teeth out but seems to be doing well. I have to keep her inside for 2 days to keep an eye on her, but she is eating and hopping around as if nothing has happened to her. Jasmine had her eye checked this morning too after her infection last week and that has now cleared. The vet didn't charge for that consultation, but considering the ammount of money I have spent at the vets in the poast 3 weeks I have probably paid for her wages myself!! $340 for the cats injections, $60 for Jasmines eye drops and $190 for todays operation!! Hopefully I won't be back at the vets for a long time!! lol

Well better go, I need to pop out to the shops, I noticed on the Next website (one of my favourite clothes shops) they have some cute Mickey and Minnie t-shirts in so I think I am going to buy a few for my summer Disney trip! A big new Next store opened near my house a few months ago, so I'm off for a look.

Moving slowly forward. At the end of next month I am taking a week off to go back to Texas to help her pack/throw stuff away. It is not going to be a small task. Hopefully we will get it close to a point where the movers/packers can give an estimate. We are probably going to have to rent one of those dumpsters to get rid of all the stuff.

Morning Taglikins!

Finally Friday....more training for me. It's hard to ignore all the work that ISN'T getting done when they schedule us for two solid days of training. I WILL NOT work this weekend, though. Ain't doing it without being paid time-and-a-half (which we wouldn't get since Monday was a holiday). Work will just have to get caught up next week. OK...done with that vent.

Still have lots of cruise stuff to go through and sort out. The clothes are washed and put away, but I came home with lots of 'stuff' that needs organizing.

OK...time to hit the shower....see you on the weekend!

Hi everyone. Got a few minutes to DIS. OF and Ian are out and about and Sophia is napping, though she'll probably wake while I type this.

I'm behind again so I'll just say I hope everyone is having a nice weekend. Ours has been pretty good, but I'm really looking forward to next weekend! The GASC (Great American Scrapbook Convention) is back and I'm going to crops 3 nights in a row! It's an annual thing to meet up with some fellow DISers and share a table. I need to finish getting my stuff together for it though, otherwise it will just be an expensive chat session for me.

ibounce, do you have a trip report? Now that things have settled down I'm really starting to get excited about our trip!

slo, have fun in (or out of) the pool today.

Okay, I'm gonna run do a few other things before the princess wakes. It's not often I get a few minutes to myself during daylight hours...

ibounce - can i rent or borrow your fish extender??? I signed up for the fish extender give away thing.. over 100 families.. anyway.. i looked at ebay and they want a lot of money for the fish extenders.. and i don't think that manilla folders stapled to the fish will do...



the weather is beautiful, yesterday I BBQed steaks, and pototes and make salad.. it was YUMMY!!! BTw DH bought Dove ice cream... oh that is \so good and so bad for you. i had a cherry one with chocolate on the top... oh oh oh... it was too good... now i have more lbs to loose...

i am taking a DIS break before i tackle the backyard so more...back soon..

Or you can borrow one of ours. Don't ask me why, but we now have 3 - 2 Mickey Mouse, and 1 princess. I think we're going to use the pink Mickey Mouse again - I painted on it so it's not so generic. The other Mickey is blue, and the princess is pink.
