Escape to Neverland - A new Tagliarchy adventure!!

I was going to go my Leads Group this morning, but I'm going to work early instead. I have alot to do, and I didn't do much yesterday. I just kept walking around wanting to do stuff, but never really got anything accomplished - it was ridiculous. I was just so tired, that I had no energy to do anything. Last night I cleaned up after dinner, did a couple of things around the house, and then sat on the backporch and played with my Nintendo DS for about 45 mintues - I haven't done that in FOREVER!!! I had alot to do in the house, but I just wanted to chill out, so I did Then the kids and I were in bed by 9:30pm - it was nice!!!


Tonight we are going to The Night Out Against Crime in our town. I have never been, so I'm curious on how it will be. Kevin will be there with the FD, so that's why we are going, plus, they are having hotdogs there, so we'll have a free meal I've been invited to have a booth there, but I'm not sure if it's worth it to me, so going tonight, will give me an idea if I should do a booth next year.

geffic - Kevin would be happy to just staying in the resort and resting. He loves the parks, but he also loves relaxing on vacation, which I can understand. Kevin and I both agreed that we felt way more relaxed on the Disney Cruise, because there was no pressure to be at a park.

Geffric What did you think to the AKLV? We will be at AK in 2 weeks time, can't wait to stay there!!

I'm just stopping by quickly this morning, my friends will be over for lunch in an hour, I'm just dissing whilst the floor that I just mopped dries!!

AKL is definitely one of the best! It's tied with the Poly for me. I would say in terms of grandeur and food it's simply the best on all of Disney property! You will have such a great time!

AK is one of my favs..we stayed in Jambo House, pool view..it was wonderful.. we did do the pool at Kadani.. the kids loved it.. it was wierd that the pool CS was not on the DP.. so we had to leave to get lunch..the room was gorgous(sp) but needed more hooks in the bathroom for towels.

Danauk-- we love AKL. The room that we had in 2005 has been convert to DVC (I think it was changed from a pool deluxe room into a 1-bedroom unit, pool view). We hop to be able to stay at eith Jambo or Kidani on a future trip. It feels like an escape from the parks.
We loved doing the night vision when we were staying there for 3 nights.


I think we are going to do CSR this fall...again. I was hoping for a deluxe, but that is better for next year.

My kids start school 2 weeks from today
This is just way to early, and I don't like it
The only good thing about it, is I will see Katie more, because she will be dropped off at the store after school, so that will be nice, and she's very excited about it!!!!
Stephanie comes home at around 4:20pm (she's in middle school now),
so I will see her soon after I come home.


Not to much going on by me today - just working.

Wow all this talk of starting school, this is only our 3rd week off, we have 4 more to go!

Today I ran my ridemax daily plans ready for our WDW trip, I am getting excited now!! Tomorrow I am doing my single digit dance!! I might be meeting up with a fellow pin trading disser who, if schedules allow, is going to take me to the cast connections shop to get a few discount things! I think I'll wait until next week though to get the cases down and start the packing. Tomorrow my SIL, BIL and nephew are coming to visit, Thomas is 18 months old now and I haven't seen him since his birthday party in February so I am really going to notice the difference with him. On Friday my work friend and her husband are coming over for dinner, then on Saturday we are going to London with our best friends to see Harry Potter on the IMAX at the British Film Institute. We are going to meet them in my favourite London shop, Harrods for lunch.

Wahoo! Single digit dance! You will love the cast connections shop. We used to spend all our paycheck there How is ridemax by the way? Have you used it before? I'm interested in how the program works.

Ridemax seems really good, we used it last year for Disneyland and it worked really well. The plans look good for the WDW version, so I guess we just wait and see how well it works.

Dana you leave in 9 days right? we will just miss you.; ( we are going down to WDW then do some Tampa stuff and maybe Kennedy Space Center. I won tickets at a travel fair.

Ugh I hear ya SLO. We really wanted to do Dis the week Dana is going but that is prep week with orientations, sign ups etc. I am bummed too. The summer has been long but I am not ready for it to end yet. It shouldn't be crowded Dana!!

Just wanted to pop in before we leave in the am. Sam is flying into Orlando and taking the magical express to the hotel. So we will meet up at DTD for dinner at T Rex. Lauren loves that place. The food isn't great but this trip is for her.

Cheeringmom Yeah we leave for WDW a week tomorrow. I just got our cases down from the loft this morning so I can be putting things in throughout the week. We are going to Kennedy too, we were hoping to see the launch, but we miss it by a day! So we decided to go to Kennedy anyway and see it on the launch pad and take some pictures. Well done on winning the tickets.

Seewhat I'll let you know what ridemax is like, like I said before the DL one was spot on and so far I am liking the WDW version.

Well yesterday my nephew, SIL and BIL came to visit. The weather was nice in the morning so we went out to the local country park. The local radio station was there doing a promotion and taking pictures which they were putting on their website. They took one of Liz, Dan and Thomas.

Today I am just doing housework, I am getting the spare room ready for my uncle for when he is house sitting for us, the cats have to go to the vets for their annual injections (they are both currently hiding under the bed as they know when their cat flaps get locked they are going to the vets!), then I have some housework to do before my friend from work and her husband are coming over for dinner.

I guess I should get on with my afternoon then. Have a good Friday everyone.

Well Today I have a dog and a cat to sit for.. so besides going grocery shopping and all, I'll be busy..

Eric left for the weekend with friends, Geoff is home and going to hang out with a friend, then he and the friend ( girl) wil be back here for dinner - they are okay with fish on the grill.. so I'll go to Costco and see what is available..

Also, I am NOW driving Eric plus many frinds to the music place in Tinley PArk next week to see Blink 182..
what makes me angry about this is all along he has said we don't have to drive.. and where are the other parents?? 7 kids have tickets?? why do we always drive???

Hi everyone! I haven't been on in a while - but it sounds like everyone is having end of summer fun (Sorry about the loss of Stitch DanaUK).

I have to take a business trip to the DC area next week. I hate to fly - but it will be nice to finally go to the headquarters. Also, since I grew up in DE - I am tacking on a vacation day and will travel to see all my friends from where I grew up. Even though I moved away in 10th grade - I still have maintained my friendships from the old neighborhood. People I have known since I was 2 1/2. My HS, College and grad school graduation presents from my folks were trips back east.

So I will be home this Monday for the first day of school for the girls - but then I head on my trip. The girls are so excited to be going back to school. We just got their back to school outfits from Target.

Good morning everyone!

We had a fab day in London yesterday. We went to the Disney store where I bought some LE pins to give to a fellow Disser in WDW when we go, I also did a little pin trading. Then we went to Harrods to meet our friends, we had lunch and looked around a little. Can you believe their Christmas shop is open already?!! I bought 2 decorations for the Dis exchange later in the year. Seeing Harry Potter on the IMAX was good, some was in 3D. They also did a 3D trailer for Disney's Scruge which is coming out in November, it looked really good.

Today we are just relaxing at home. I need to do packing lists, make sure we have what we need to go on holiday with and make sure the guest room is ready for my uncle who is house sitting for us to feed the pets.

BlueBayou I hope you have a fab trip. I'm not keen on flying too, but I do it!

Geffric It seems unfair that you always have to drive the kids to the gigs, maybe the other parents don't offer as they know you will always step up and take them.

Good morning. I'm watching some of the web cam footage of the Haunted Mansion sleepover in DL. Those girls scream a lot and loud. Disney is using a lot of tricks and sound effects on the winners.
