Good morning. I should be getting the kids up, but it's summer so I'll let them sleep a little more. So what if they're late for camp - AGAIN!

Welcome Philagoofy. This is definitely a Happy Place. If you want a history of the TAGLIARCHY, here's a bit of reading.

Good afternoon everyone,

Slo Thanks for the birthday wishes, I had a good day at work. As it is the last week of the school year we had board games day today which was fun, plus I got a lot of prep done in my room for next year which was great. Is the weather still poor where you live. We are having wuite a lot of rain at the moment, but it seems to be getting warmer this week.

Cheeringmom This year we get a 7 week break, we usually have 6 weeks but every 6 or 7 years we get an extra week for some reason!! We usually break up a week later than what we are doing this year. I'm not complaning though!!

NCBelle Sorry to hear your FIL is getting worse. Your family is still in my prayers.

Well seen as it is the last week of the year at work we are getting to do fun things. Tomorrow is the junior departments fun trip out. All 4 classes are going to Draytom Manor for the day. Drayton Manor is a theme park which also has a zoo. I am the nominated member of staff to take the kids on the rollercoasters!!

Thanks for the continuing prayers and thoughts. Yesterday, we got a call at 7am and a couple of hours later from MIL saying that FIL is fading fast. The #3 son got Andy to laugh/smile when he brought his wife's dog for her to tell her Grand-Pop good-bye with a dog kiss (she's got bad doggy breath even with dental care). Andy loved having 2 grand-dogs...he wished that we could had brought our dog last month, but summertime is not good for Jessie to travel 6 hours in a car. Jessie overheard us mentioning the kennel yesterday so she has been giving me the cold shoulder during the day until NC Beast calls home before leaving work.

Has anyone stayed at Four Points Sheraton by Universal? I got the free superbowl ticket from Universal and I can get Lauren one for $89. I wanted to stay somewhere where I wouldn't have to drive and that was close by. I got the info on the hotel from Mousesavers. Anyone been there??

we are staying at the Hyatt Place .. it is a suite and we got it for $89 and it includes free parking and cont'l breakfast.. it is close enough that one can walk to Universal..

Just stopping by quickly before work. Today we are heading to a theme park and zoo which is great, although the weather forecast is rain for the whole day! Great!! So I guess I should go and find my rain jacket.

The girls woke me up EARLY this morning due to the miniture store we had Now I'm up and tired, and they are both in their beds sleepingI wish they would just sleep through these little storms, because it's so frustrating when they don't. Ok...enough venting about that

*I hope the zoo isn't to soggy today
*The weather here, for me, isn't the greatest summer weather. I've been in my pool only 1 time Many would find this cooler weather great, but I like some heat in the summer.

Good morning everyone. It's hot, Hot, HOT here! And to make matters worse, the upstairs AC - in the kids' rooms - is not working. It was at least 80 degrees in their rooms all night long. I fear it will be even worse tonight if that AC guy doesn't get out here and fix it today.

I'm sorry on the mix-up. I usually double check my facts.

Jessie was named by her foster mom and refused to have her name changed. She had a sister named Daisy so there must had been a Disney themed litter.

Well our day out at the theme park was OK. It rained a little for the 1st hour, but then in was nice and sunny after that. The kids enjoyed the rides and the zoo and they were all really well behaved which was great.

Slo Sorry you are not having great weather, I hope it improves soon. I didn't really do anything for my birthday yesterday. Pete had a parents evening so he had to work late. He has ordered me a statue for the garden I have been wanting for years though for me which is arriving next week.

RRBB I hope you get your air con fixed tomorrow, we have been using ours quite a bit recently, I would hate for it not to be working in hot weather!

Well I better go and get ready, we are going to the cinema to see Harry Potter in an hour.

It's so hard to have a loved one leave us, but it is also comforting when we know they are in a better place where there is no more pain, and no more suffering.
