Even though I told my guide in JUNE to remove my name from the list of those waiting for BCV points.

The story is: I called in April to see about adding some points at the Beach Club Villa. My guide told me no problem, there would be a bit of a wait, however. She said they could charge my card a $500 deposit automatically when they became available. I said that would be fine.

However, when I went down in June for a visit, I called her to see where I was in the process, she said I was actually number 15 on the waiting list for BCV points. She then told me of the incentives offered at that time for purchasing SSR. They sounded good, but since I already own OKW, I did not think that I need SSR. Then, I got to thinking, since I also own at BWV, I really did not need another Epcot resort DVC. I decided I would rather wait and see if Contemporary DVC actually comes to pass, and I would buy there. So, I called her back and told her to remove my name from the BCV points waiting list.

Well, today I check my credit card online and there is a $500 deposit to DVC on it. I called and left a message on my guide's voicemail regarding our talk in June. Do y'all think there will be a problem? I have no intention of adding on right now, and I don't think there would be a problem with just taking that charge off?

What do you think?

I doubt if there will be a problem. There are plenty of people waiting for points. I'm sure that your guide will call you and it will all be credited back, no worries :) .

How many points were you waitlisting for, just out of curiosity :teeth: ?

I had told her that I would take anywhere from 65 to 106 with an August or April use year. Those are the two use years I have with my other 4 resort purchases. I didn't want to throw another use year in there! LOL! Evidently, there are points available now for those two (or at least one) use year at BCV.

there will be no problem getting your money back. you havent signed any paperwork for it right. even people thet signs the paperwork still has 10 days to change their minds and cancel.

I bought points yesterday and my C.C was taken over the phone for the full amount and today I was able to bank my points and make a booking for June 2007, but as of yet I am yet to see any paper work or sign anything. I just assumed that agreeing to the contract over the phone and making the full payment made it binding.

I don't have any intention of doing this, but still like to know what my legal rights are, would I still have a right to cancel this contract if I wanted to even though full payment has been taken, and if so would I get 10 days from yesterday "to cool off" or 10 days from when and if I sign the contract. :confused3

Like I said all just hypothetical but I am one of those people that just likes to know these things !!! :goodvibes

Once you sign the documents and have them notarized, your 10 day Right-of-Rescision period will begin. You have not lost any rights by already paying for your contract.

Enjoy! :)
