Epcot World Showcase Yummies

We liked the School Bread as well, the egg rolls in China, and anything at the Boulangerie (sp) in France...we ate the ham and cheese croissant, a butter croissant, strawberry mousse, and a napoleon! Dh and I split it, and I was not happy I had to! ;)

There was a dark beer in Germany ( I cant rememebr the name) But is was one of the better beers I have ever had. Plus I really like the Margarheta (preferably the multi flavored one). (This is more for the bang for the buck, because they were not the best tasting, but they were strong).

Okay I am new to this so I gotta know.
What is:

Rice Cream

Sorry, I can't help with this one. :confused3

Okay I am new to this so I gotta know.
What is:

Dole Whip

A Dole Whip is a soft serve ice cream that is pineapple flavored. They are available at Aloha Isle in Adventureland at MK. There is also a Dole Whip Float available.

Okay I am new to this so I gotta know.
What is:

School Bread

School Bread is a pastry (yummy!) available in the pastry shop in Norway (EPCOT). It is fairly large, easily enough for 2 people or even 3. So to descibe it, it has a large pastry piece on the bottom that reminds me somehting like a donut or a honey bun. It then has a large serving of custard and is topped with coconut. Hopefully I got that right!

Okay I am new to this so I gotta know.
What is:
Beaver Tails

Beaver Tails are fried dough that used to be sold in Canada (EPCOT).

Thank you very much for the info.
I am gaining weight just reading this :lmao:

Everyone must try the lefse in Norway. Get it with butter and suger...YUMMY! My family is Norwegian and I eat a couple of those at a time!

Rice Cream

Rice Cream is also from Norway...surprise, surprise!

Anyhow, it's a bit like rice pudding or German Milchreis, but I find it's a bit fluffier than rice pudding tends to be. Often, it is served with lingonberry(yum!!!) or strawberry sauce on top.

It's quite good!

Lefse are a flatbread...almost like a pancake with potato in it. I also eat these with lingonberries...haha, but the butter and sugar or cinnamon is also great. This was probably the worst description, so I'll leave this now to the original poster on the subject ;)

The words "pancake" and "potato" sold me! Yummy.

The bakery in France is over-the-top-awesome, but Tangerine in Morrocco has a few exceptional items. Both the chicken and the lamb wraps are terrific, and they have great side dishes too: a nicely flavored cous cous and a beautiful lentil salad.

I love the ham and cheese crossaint from france
my husband is hooked on the rootbeer floats - you get them were the dole whips are served. They are so yummy....:lovestruc

These are my favorites:

Tangerine Kaki Gori from Japan (similar to water ice)
Pretzel from Germany
Anything at the dinner at Biergarten in Germany
Gummy peach rings & Gummy Bears from Germany
Glazed almonds from USA (if they still have that cart there)
Chocolate croissant or chocolate mousse from France
Fish & chips from UK
Nachos and churros with a pink lemonade at Mexico

Judging by this thread (and a little bit of experience) I think it's a good bet to just hang out at La Kringla the whole trip!!! :)

That's probably a safe bet ;-)

It's certainly my favorite...though many of the other things mentioned from various other stops are on my favorites list as well!

As others have mentioned....those pretzels at Germany are awesome!
I also like the cheese quesadillas at Mexico....HELLO little fried, puffs of yumminess!....And the cheese soup from Cananda....why must you do this to me right now? I think I'm drooling.
