EPCOT-WORLD SHOWCASE, to the left or to the right?

Ok,,This question came up when I was talking to a friend and was explaining to her how when I enter EPCOT from the main entrance going towards WS I ALWAYS start at Mexico and end up at Canada? She asked me why I start in Mexico? I thought to myself for a minute and wondered why myself? I think its just normal to go that way,,,What about everyone else?? Do you automatically enter WS starting at Mexico and then work your way around..Im curious?

I have never been to Epcot, but people tend to go to the right so I go to the left! I try to avoid the crowds at all costs! lol ~Missy

Typically we go left. It has something to do with lunch ps for us(usually in Italy)

We always start in Mexico too - I have no idea why but we always tend to flow that way. I think I'll try going the other way around the next time we are there just for something different

its weird, we have always gone to the left also so this year we have deceided to change directions and go to the right begining with canada.

Wow, I guess Im not that different,,sounds like most people go left...Maybe Ill switch it up in October....but then I wont be able to have that first Margarita in Mexico???

The first time I was at Epcot, I was 3 years old and my parents took me to the left...Mexico first. The next time I was there I was 5 and we did the same thing. I can only remember a few things from my first trips to Disney World, but now at 21, this is one tradition I think I will always keep! Plus, the Mexico Pavillion (I think) is one of the most festive ones in the World Showcase!

Left or Right...it doesn't matter...either way you'll have a blast!

Interesting question! If we enter WS from the main entrance, we almost always go left. When we enter from the Internation Gateway, I would say it's split 50/50, depending if we have a PS somewhere.

I've always gone to the left. I remember reading that most people go to the right but I don't know about that. Maybe it's some kind of submilimnal (sp?) clock-wise thing.

I always start to the right because I cannot visit WS without a Beaver Tail in hand.

All I have to say is, I wish this was decision I had to make everyday..

We usually start in Mexico... why.. who knows..? but thats the way the stroller gos.. and I just follow..lol

Unless we stay at an Epcot Resort.. then we usually go threw UK to the fastest way to the Monorail... to head to MK.. by the time the trips done, I'm so sick of Epcot it don't matter..lol

We start in Mexico too - going to the left. I think years ago I read that if there were two lines at an attraction to take the one on the left. So, now I head left on everything! In fact if we go to the movie theatre and there are two doors, I automatically head to the one on the left!

We go left! Mostly because my fave countries to visit are that direction and I want to make sure I have plenty of time for them!

Because of that, I rarely spend much time in Canada... I think I've stopped in their store once. i always run out of time!!!!!!

I've always gone to left ever since my first visit like 10 or 12 years ago. This past December I never started at the right but it was nice having fish and chips for lunch rather than chinese. Now I have less than 4 months to decide which way will I start on my next visit.

I always start in Mexico. I think because I want to get to the Norway boat ride before it gets too crowded.
