Why did the worlds show case close at 6:00pm yesterday?

Normally it’s a cast event or that part of the park is rented. It would have been published in the park hours.

Thanks. Was it listed on the website the early closure. I didn't know. Threw plans up in the air.

How early do they announce things like this? When you have to reserve your parks in advance, this can really throw a wrench into people's plans.
I wouldn't be happy if that was a day we planned to see Harmonious or have a special dinner at Epcot etc.
Hopefully they give people a long enough heads up so that they can change plans.

The thread linked above was from March 20th -- so I'd say they gave at least 10 weeks advance notice. Sorry the OP missed the info, I can see how someone might be more focused on opening times when making plans and just expect the closings to be later. A good reminder to double-check plans periodically to make sure nothing has changed (hours, shows, etc.).
