I am putting together a passport for dd4 to bring to EPCOT to make her experience more interactive and enjoyable. I want to put some "tips" on each page (one page per country) and need your help. I know each country has a kidcot station but I wanted to have other ideas as well. I am putting info on how to say hello in each country (thanks to the thread on this board). I would like to put an activity, characters to try to find and a special treat (snack or dessert) for each country too. Anything you can add to my list is appreciated.
Here is what I have so far:

Mexico El Tiempo del Rio boat ride, churro

Norway Maelstrom boat ride, playground & Viking boat btwn Stave Church & Mexico, rub trolls nose 3 times for good luck, pretzel

China acrobats, Mulan characters

Germany Model train, clock (on the hour), Snow White characters, pretzel

Italy living statues, Pinnochio characters

USA funnel cake, turkey leg

Japan pick a pearl, candy artist, kaki gori

Morocco Aladdin characters

France B&TB characters, pastries

UK Hedge maze (3 feet tall), butterfly garden, fish & chips, Pooh characters, Peter Pan characters, Mary Poppins characters, Alice in Wonderland characters

Canada view of the falls all the way up the steps to the rear, beaver tails, Brother Bear characters

I am sure I am missing plenty. Also, can anyone confirm if the Living Statues are still in Italy? When I am done I will be happy to let everyone know & email you the passport for you to customize for your child. It'll have a page for a picture like a real passport - includes info on where to send if it gets lost (and found!) and a section for the country's stamp & little notes.

Thanks so much!

if your DD is like my DD you forgot: BUY THINGS!

In particular be aware that the parasols are a "must have" for princesses from a street cart in France

UK: street players

Canada: the guys in skirts (Off Kilter)

You'll probably want to warn her that she won't see all the characters on the list in any one visit

What a great idea! I'm going in late Oct with DS's, 4 and 1. Epcot is DH's favorite and with the little ones, we've only been there for F&W snacking in the evenings for our past few trips. We're also hoping to spend more time there.

To prep, I've been doing the languages too (thanks to all for the posts), but I also read a post about Steve Soares site that has updated info on all the live entertainment in the various parks (I don't know how he does it - Thanks Steve!). Here's the link for Epcot.

It should help. I believe it says that the statues are in Italy.

I also printed some of the pages from a link on the families forum. It's for the kids to journal. Although DS can't really do it himself yet, it has several pages, one for each park, with questions like 'what was your favorite ride, snack, show ...' Perhaps that might be helpful. If you don't see the thread, I'll go hunt it down and post it again for you.

Please add me to the list for the passport. It would be great to have!

Thanks,
