Went to Epcot in July. Realized how hard it actually is to find a glass of wine!
I enjoy my wine in France or Germany.

You might have missed the US navy guy who got so drunk he attacked 3 CM's with a piece of PVC pipe.
I do have to say I LUV THE JALEPENO MARGHARITA! <<<<--- emphasis
So I guess it wasn't you, then.It didn't happen while I was there.
So it didn't happen? It didn't happen while I was there.
Sorry I thought it was used for making an alert to a comment that should be emphatic. Are there any other internet rules that I need to be made aware of? If so I do apologize as this is all new to me.It is well known and understood all over the web that all caps is yelling. It isn't a Disboard thing. Not sure how you haven't heard that before.
Definitely don't go to there on the weekend during F&W if yesterday upset you!Yes, I know it's considered to be "Shouting", but Caps don't point to rudeness.
Considering the way I felt about seeing drunk loud 20-somethings all over the place at 1/ 2 pm in the afternoon, I think the caps are appropriate.
So it didn't happen?
I have been there with children and saw a young man puking in a bush. The kids pointed him out and I simply told them that he was laughing at that tree. Yes it does happen quite often, and I am not a prude, but I do support the intent of the original poster. In simple Irish wisdom, a man needs to know his limits.Actually, I find the thread quite informative (other than the intentionally obtuse and unnecessary comments) because it has been in the back of my mind that I will encounter extremely drunk and obnoxious people during my visit. I am not talking about the person who chooses to stroll around with a beer or wine glass in hand, or someone who buys a drink or 2 at different kiosks, but those who either set out to get trashed, or have no filter and don't know when to stop AND (offensive caps here) are loud and obnoxious.
What constitutes a family unit aside, I often travel with children, and we enjoy going to the countries to meet the different characters, see a few of the attractions, and enjoy the atmosphere. Because of the marketing towards families with young children I do hold Disney to a higher standard than other venues. Through television, online and magazine ads we are encouraged to make WDW a destination for children from a very young age to young at heart. I do not enjoy loud, obnoxious or offensive behavior anywhere, but especially somewhere that has been heavily promoted as something entirely different. That said, I will give it a try and see for myself if the behavior the OP wrote about is the norm or just bad luck. I will, however, wisely keep my findings to myself.
Enjoy!
It sickens me to see every other person walking around with beer, wine, shots. It is completely ridiculous. Even more annoying were the(no exaggeration either) 25+ bridal/bacherlorette parties I seen strolling around, drinking every chance and every spot they could. Not to mention the groups or millennials there obviously just to drink. Treating World Showcase like a St Paddy's day pub crawl.
AND ALL OF THIS ON A SATURDAY AFTERNOON???
I'd hate to see what the night looks like.
I will never visit World Showcase on a weekend again, and after seeing this garbage, I don't think I'll be back for a loooooong time. I know the F & W festival had become a drunk fest, but now every weekend is as well. I'm out, and yes, I will be writing an e-mail stating my dissatisfaction even though I'm not the type of person that usually would do that. In fact I think I have done it one time before and coincidentally it was to Disney about the MNSSHP, when they started over selling it.
Oh my goodness #parentgoals I now know where we will be 2031!I've never seen anything like you describe, but we did take take our daughter fir her 21sr birthday....![]()
