EPCOT to POLY...Which would be quicker

I want to go from The America Gardens Theatre to POLY as quickly as possible with Disney Transportation. I have come up with the following 2 options. Which do you think would be quicker? Or do you have another idea.

1. Walk out the International Gateway to BC and take a bus to MK. Then switch to the resort monorail.

2. Walk all the way through Epcot to the Main Entrance and take the TTC monorail then switch to the resort monorail.

I am thinking #2 will take longer because of the long walk to Epcot's Main Entrance. What do you think?

Take the boat across the Epcot lake to cut the walk in half. The walk to BC is not a lot shorter than walking all the way out of the park. Monorail will get you there much faster than a bus with a transfer.

I would walk to the front of Epcot and take the monorail to the TTC. Then you can get off at the TTC and take the walking path to the Polynesian or switch to the resort monorial and ride to the poly.

WE often stay at the Epcot resorts and IMHO walking all the way to the BC or the BW is as least as long as walking to the monorail . Then you could have a 20 minute bus wait and the Epcot resort buses often stop at all of the Epcot resorts before heading to the MK. Then you still have to take the resort monorial to the Polynesian.

I think your #2 is quicker esp if you get off at the TTC and walk.

Good idea about walking to POLY, I had not considered that

As far as the buses stopping at the EPCOT resorts. Beginning late morning, MK buses will only stop at YC/BC. There is a separate bus for BW/SW/DO

Thanks, That's good news if they keep to it!

We are returning to an Epcot resort on next week. On several past trips the buses to AK & MK have been completely random as to how many Epcot resort stops a bus will make.

What time of day are you doing this? If it's mid day or early evening, you could be waiting quite a while for a bus to the MK. They just don't run as frequently as they do in the mornings. Plus the resort monorail from the MK to the Poly takes quite a while, stopping at the CR & TTC before getting to the Poly.

I would take the monorail to the TTC and then walk back to the Poly - at least you will only have to wait for one form of transportation and you can probably walk fairly quickly if you are motivated, LOL.
