How long will it take us to travel from Epcot to Cape May Cafe?

Do you think my kids will like it? They love shrimp, but I am not sure what they will think about clams...

Walking out the IG entrance, it will take you between 5 and 8 minutes to reach the restaurant.

Can't help much with the food part, haven't been there in awhile.

You can walk to the restaurant from Epcot. You need to exit the park via the International Gateway(I think its called that) and then its less than a 10 min walk to the Beach Club.:thumbsup2

It is a 10 minute walk from the back of Epcot to the BC. I think the kids will love the mini hot dogs, fries, chicken strips, salads, desserts, ribs, roasted chicken.....it is so good!

Thank you for the replies!!! It sounds like it is the perfect distance from Epcot. It will be a nice little stroll!! Thanks!!

My kids are sure to love this food.

How about the best way if you are coming from the POLY... it is a non park day for us... i thought i would take the bus to HS and then boat to Beach Club...thoughts?

That would work, or else you might monorail or boat to the MK, then take the bus to the Beach Club.

Both are a bit of a pain, but depending on the bus, that might actually be quicker (the HS boat trip is slow, IMO).

Thank you... I am second guessing this restaurant, just because of this...transportation issue.... but I called tonight and there are not many restaurants that have enough room for all of us!
Thanks for you help!

Personally, my family was a bit disappointed by the Cape May Clam Bake. We live in New England, so that probably didn't help either. But we found the clams to be very small, and most of the shells empty. I thought the clam chowder was good, the peel and eat shrimp were okay, as was the beef and a few of the other items, but nothing really stood out as being spectacular.

I agree with a PP that the kids will enjoy the chicken nuggets and such one way or another regardless.

Yeah, just exit Epcot through the international gateway and follow the walking path over to Beach Club. It's a pleasant walk and you can watch the ferrys go by as well.
Regarding the food, I have yet to eat there for dinner, but have always heard very positive feedback from others I know.

If you're coming from Poly, I'd take the monorail over to Ticket and Transportation Center and transfer onto the Epcot monorail. Once you're at Epcot, do the same thing as I just mentioned to 'momandkidslovedisney'.

We are staying at Pop in September too. We are going to do what some people already mentioned. We are going to go to Epcot, then walk to Cape May for dinner.
