I really like international cuisine, and I know there are a lot of options at Epcot. Which is the best international restaurant in the circle of nations area?

You may likely get as many answers as there are restaurants in the World Showcase. What is one person's must do is another's must avoid. Further, Disney doesn't go all in on international cuisine--most of the dishes at those places are Americanized to appeal to a broader swath of palates. That being said, if a particular menu appeals to you, I'd go there and find out for yourself. If you like Mediterranean inspired food, go to Restaurant Marrakesh. If you enjoy pub food, head over to Rose & Crown. We enjoy small plates and wine, so we often step into Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar. Have fun deciding!

This is almost exactly what I would have said except that it's not totally Americanized, if you have only had Mexican food at a chain Mexican restaurant, the food served at the Mexican pavilion is going to be more true to Mexico, etc. I think they try to be a tad more regional so it's possible the food at say Morocco is going to seem Americanized to someone who has actually traveled to other countries but having lived in the Middle East it is more than I can get locally.

I have Las Halles on our list to try- pictures of the food there look amazing!

Agree with the comments that people’s opinions and experiences will be all over the place. Most table service have similar quality, expect average to slightly above average in most cases. It might be helpful to determine what is important to you.

In the past the table grilling in Japan, Teppan Edo, was rated pretty well for that style of cuisine. The Moroccan restaurants and Akershaus would be dishes you might not typically find easily in other places. The Germany buffet can be more fun with the show and larger tables. Not as adventurous but Le Cellier has been popular for steaks for a while.

A few places might have better quality, others more authentic and some just a better experience. Hope that helps some.

Well put. I do believe Disney makes an attempt at regional cuisine at the WS restaurants, and they succeed on some levels. As you say, and as I've posted on other threads, what is a delight to one person in terms of the experience will differ with someone who doesn't have the breadth of experience. For example, take the chicken tagine at Restaurant Marrakesh. While RM may tone down the spices such as coriander, cumin, cardamom, cinnamon, and turmeric, that particular dish and preparation are most certainly
more unique than most people who cook chicken in southwest Virginia or east Texas. That being said, if you spent any time in north Africa, et.al., or you live in a city where such dishes are easy to find, then no, RM's version might not stack up. So, you are correct, and I shouldn't have implied that all the regional cuisines were extremely Americanized. :thumbsup2

We enjoy Spice Road, Restaurant Marrakesh, Monsieur Paul.
Teppan Edo was fun, but we have similar around us, so we pick other options.
Tutto Italia is average Italian. Via Napoli is good if you want pizza.
consider walking to the Swan to Il Mulino if you want Italian.

We like Teppan Edo hibachi for dinner, Les Halles is our favorite for lunch. Marrakesh is fun for lunch also. We have eaten in Via Napoli for dinner but have found it a let down.

We really like the Restaurant Marrakesh in the Morocco Pavilion, so much it's our go to for at least one meal each time we go.

Perhaps time your trip to coincide with Food & Wine festival, you'll have so many different kiosks to try with recipes from around the world.

BOAT - IG....
Dolphin
Swan
Yachtsman

All your choice. There is NO fine dining in any park.... please get out, and hit the real deal, at the Resorts, if you desire Fine Dining.

Again, all your choice...
All personal opinion - I'm not necessarily right, no one else is necessarily wrong.

This is not at all what the OP is asking for opinions on. They asked about “International Cuisine “ in WS. I don’t see any of these as International, nor are they in WS.

IF you have a local hibachi grill and Chinese table service, then skip Japan and China at Epcot--your local is just as good -- if not better--and much less expensive. IMHO Spice Road is one of the best qualities and dining experiences of World Showcase.

You can't really go wrong at the International Showcase @ Epcot.
There is something for everyone at every price point.

Our current favs are the following:

Sommerfest. I like the frankfurter German style, not American seasoned) and the rest of my party prefers the bratwurst. The hard thing here is to find a seat since tables are limited. Calm down on ordering the pretzels. One will feed 3 people with ease for us.

Katsuri Grill. Best quick service restaurant @ WDW IMO.
Tokyo Dining. Great views from many of the tables, and service. Nothing wrong with the food either and a better bang for the buck over TE, again IMO,

Yorkshire Fish and Chips. Fresh and nicely crispy fries. Lightly battered non greasy fish (no matter the variety) with all the traditional condiments you'd expect in the UK.
Rose and Crown Lounge if you prefer cod in your fish and chips. Same cooking quality as Yorkshire.

Just go to France and get a taste of the life at any of the restaurants excepting the creperie kiosk which serves crepes with inferior jam and too much of it. More is not right in all instances.

I'm sure you can be happy at most any of the Pavilions and again it depends on what you like.

Errr but ignore the US Pavilion's offerings since you can get what it sells at most any corner of MK; just sad.
