i dont know if this is the right place to put this if not i am sorry and it is ok to move it. what i was wondering is if anybody has done a beer crawl through all the countries in epcot if so can you tell me about it??

:clown:

I like to start with a Dos Equis in Mexico, then head to Germany for a Spaten, then to Japan for a Kirin, then usually to Le Cellier for a nice steak and a Canadian beer. My days of pub crawling are pretty much over. But, I do make a great effort! :drinking:

Done it many times and as we do it, we always meet others along the way doing the same thing..lol.

I like to start in Norway( I ge the beer the wife gets a pastry which are awesome) then hit germany then Japan Then Italy then They have a small beer stop in front of canada then end up at the Rose and by that time its a great seat for Illuminations.

My DW and I have always started out in Canada and moved counter clockwise from there. My advice is to move slowly and take your time that or plan on heading back to the room for a nap before coming back for dinner and Illuminations. I remember the first time we did 'Beers Around the World', we went full on with hardly enough time to finish our beer/wine before moving on. We made it in record time I think but the rest of the day was shot for us.

We were talking the other night about our upcoming F&W trip in October and have officially decided to pass on that adventure this year. With all the extra drinks to be found I would rather enjoy the food and the wine not just the wine. =)

we were there in oct for f & w and we actually did a wine around the world but didnt make it past germany :) their wine was really good and oh canada had their ice wine out as well

i think we will try the beer this time :woohoo:

When I do the "pub crawl" I don't stop at every country. I will usually start with a margarita in Mexico. Then I don't get another drink until Germany (that sounds very good of me, doesn't it? But it's not that far away ;) ) And in Germany I'll usually have 2 (love the hefeweizen!)

Sometimes I'll get a beer on Morocco or champagne or wine in France, but I then I always have to stop and have a few drinks in the UK.

It does all make me very sleepy and lethargic, though! :drinking1

We did this a few trips back - to my DHs delight =) We actually did it on Mothers Day with my mom and it was one of the best days we'd had at Epcot. Not because we were all feeling really good but because we devoted an entire day to taking our time and taking in the sights.

We only missed a few countries (like America, why would I waste time on a Sam Adams? Ick!) but for the most part, we had a snack and drink in each country. We usually split - to save $ and sanity. It gets very very expensive!

We went for the F&WF the next trip and that's really the best place to do it because the portions are smaller and cheaper but oh well. We enjoyed the full size portions =)

(we alternated between wine and beer)

Booze is strong in wdw! I usually make it Around 4 drinking stations before being banned by DH. I like France, Italy, Japan, Germany, (Once I start parlez francais). Have yet to make it to mexico and the marguerita I am used to the UK drinking and none of their beers are what I normally drink - Carlsberg, Guiness..... Us peops in the UK like foreign beers like Budweiser, Stella Artois, and LaBatts. (American, Belgique, and Canadian!) :cool1: pirate:
