Epcot Pearls...? Anyone?

ok i recently read about some pearl thing in japan at epcot... it sounds like a lot of fun...

if any, and i mean ANY of you know any thing, please please please please tell me!!!!!!!

my trip is in 8 days and i think this would be awesome!!!!

please help me out fast so that i can start planning this!!!

There is a Pick a Pearl station at both Japan in Epcot and DTD. For $13, you can pick an oyster and they'll open it to find a pearl inside. Then you can pay extra to have the pearl set into a necklace, ring or earrings. It's a great souvenir idea.

I did it this earlier in the month for DD, DM, and myself. We got three very different pearls and made a great souvenir of our trip. DD got a rare blue pearl.

Yeah! There is a pick a pearl station in Japan. You ask to pick an Oister or whatever pearls come in and there are hundrads in the tank. It is so fun! You could get a tiny or huge pearl! And you can put it on a neaklas or earings ect! It is awesome! It's not too expensive!

I just did this last week in Japan. Make sure you go to a register first and pay for the pearl and then bring your receipt to the pick the pearl counter.

I got a slightly pink pearl. I did not really like the settings available in Japan, so I had it set as pendant in the pearl booth at Downtown Disney.


It was a lot of fun and I'm planning to do another pearl when I return in December.

I think this is a great souvenir for the price. For about $30 ea my two dd's and I got pearls in sterling necklace settings. They are very pretty, and I wear mine nearly every day!
