Epcot Passport

I feel so stupid. I tried the download and I keep getting an unable to process converter error. HUH??? I have no idea. Anyone have the file that can be emailed to me? I've promised a 9 year old I would make him this passport.

Don't feel stupid, we all need a little help now and then:goodvibes
And the DIS is the perfect place to find it!

I just emailed it to you!

Could you please send it to me email? I can't get it to download either.

Thank you, Carolyn

could I please get a copy of this vservey @ columbus.rr.com

we leave May 10th..

These designs are really cool...

I put spaces in email address because it wouldn't let me post otherwise there is no space after vservey and no space after the @

I have to tell you, this is beautiful!! I had to join just to tell you!
Could someone please email me the Word file and instructions on how to print. Also, what is the best way to print these? I don't have a color printer. Does anyone know if I could print it out at Kinko's or even better, a more economical way to print?:confused3
I am so excited to get started!:woohoo:

jleo805 @ aol . com (without spaces)

Got it downloaded fine. Thanks to those who posted the website to the link!

Quick question, and don't laugh I'm just a bit computer/printer challenged.

I'm going to print this on a sheet of paper, then turn the sheet of paper over and print the next page on the same sheet of paper?? After I downloaded it, it looks like 2 countries go on one sheet of paper, right? Then I stop printing, turn the page over and continue printing on the back?

Also, if I wanted to use thicker paper then regular old printer paper (have tons of 12x12 scrapbook paper laying around), what size should I cut the paper to make sure it prints right? Still the 8.5 x 11??

thanks so much!

This is from the author Angelia, I am just reposting

Page 1 is one side -- Page 2 is the back side. Odd pages on one side of paper evens on the other.

I used 115 pound cardstock because that is what I had. It worked great but I would not go any heavier than that. Someone else used 65 pound. It just has to be thick enough so you can't see the printing on the other side.

I cut the inside pages slightly smaller and the outer pages a little bigger. If you don't then by the time the cover page is wrapped around all the others it is too small. I hope that makes sense.

I put clear contact paper on both sides of the outer page and cut it slightly larger that the cover. So I have a tiny amount of clear all the way around that page. I thought if I only put it on the outside of the cover the edge might eventually get sticky. A pen does write on the contact paper.

Put 3 staples in the center seam to finish.

You might want to test a page or two before you start printing just to make sure you know how to load paper in the printer etc. I tested with scrap paper and marked both sides jut to keep me from screwing it up

Thanks! I just looked at this thread and the pics are posted. These are soooo cute. I downloaded from the link posted in post 333 and can't wait to try these for our trip.

I used greeting card stock. I would think regular paper would be way too thin.

I'm so sad. I've tried every way possible to get this to work. I've tried the link and the emails you all have sent me. Is there another file type this can be converted to so I can make these. My three boys would each love to have one. I don't have word....do you think that is the problem?:guilty: :guilty: :guilty:

yes you need Word to open the document. Do you have access to any other word processing software, you might be able to convert it to that format. Another option is to use open office (Free software) and that might work. If you are going to have the passports printed at Kinko's you might be able to use there PCs (dont know if they still have PCs to use)

Angela,

I printed the set that from post #54 on page 4 with Mickey for each country. (Beefeater Mickey is too cute!)

Anyway when I asked for the new set I was looking for the 3 countries that were on page 2 post #30 I was hoping to incorporate those for my daughter because of the princesses. They aren't split and I don't know how to split them so I was hoping that Pat had sent them to someone or that someone smarter than I had figured it out.

Thanks,
Mary

I have printed these out also with the pages not split. For example, each country is on one page with fold in the middle (one side Italy, the other side Italy if that makes sense) I don't know how much ink and paper I have already wasted trying to bind these together. If anyone knows, please help!
Thanks,
Melanie

This is just adorable! Do the cast members sign these as you tour through the countries? Thanks to the creator for sharing his time and talents with those of use less fortunate!

My kids will just love these!!!

I would recommend you download the file and look at the instructions. Having the countries side by side wont work because of the binding process. The original creator actualy split the countries so that when you bind the document the countries all fit togther. If you wanted to add pages you would need to reformat. Not sure if that helps, if you want to PM I will be happy to try and help

I'm sorry, I am so computer illiterate. How do you pm someone?

Hello all. I have tried to periodically touch base and send out the files that I have. I have sent them to everyone that requested them (I think :confused3 ) and I will ry to check back once a month or so. If you need it faster, try emailing one of the email addresses posted in the thread. Maybe they can forward my email to you with the files attached.;)
