Epcot or MK on 10/8? more crowded?

What do you think? Originally based on TourMike & historical EMH I was going to go to Epcot on the Saturday of our trip....BUTTTTT with F&W do you think Epcot will be jammed on Saturday??? I could switch & do Epcot on Friday & MK on Saturday? OF COURSE I've now got so many PS/ADR's I can probably just spend our time eating instead of actually GOING anywhere!

I would follow the general rule,avoid MK on Saturdays no matter what time of year.

It will be busy at Epcot, especially in the evening. Saturday is when all of the local Floridian's (me being one of them) tend to go to F & W. That being said, Epcot is huge. You will not be as jammed as going to the MK on a Saturday. I wouldn't let that stop you though. It's a fun event.

I'd agree with the above posts; we learned quickly that MK is even more jammed on the weekends.

Sometimes early on sunday mornings, especially if it's rainy or cold, MK's pretty good, but normally we schedule MK for weekdays.

EPCOT's so big that even with the locals there it's still fun, and the locals tend to be a lot more zen about the parks than the stressed out newbie tourists, which makes it even more fun.

Oh, I wish I was a local. Does living 7 hours away by minivan count as a suburb?

I think both parks will be really crowded but it all depends on how you spend your day. We go first thing in AM and we leave to go for rest around 1pm and then back out again around 4-5pm for the rest of the night. SO really, we are never too concerned with crowds. If you do commando all day, I would probably opt for MGM that day. Reason: AK is early morning, MK is crowded on Sat and Epcot has food and wine. By process of elimination you have MGM

Hmm, thanks for the input. I think it may depend on getting the lunch at Norway....If we do...then I'll plan Epcot that day. Although with 2 kids...I should be gone by the time the party animals come out to play.
